You all speak how this areas are PvP so everyone need to be prepared to be attacked anytime.
However, you forget the reason this area is PvP exists no more: there is no longer supreme dig spot in nexus ever since merge so the fact that is PvP is only a byproduct off removed content (imo, yomv etc).

Also, pvp is not only reason for which one can go to nexus, there is golden there so.. no content is restricted to pvpers and if it is, shame on game.

In any case, acknowledging Arispotle/Leanon/Aniro don't exist, you must understand people coming from this different places have different game style.. You may say it don't exist anymore so we must all adopt your game style but I see no honour or morale anywhere in killing someone who be already drained hp/sap, like killing a yubo...

It isn't restricted to PvPers. But anyone who goes there should expect to be attacked. You get this warning every time you enter the zone. Shame of those who go there, get the warning, ignore the warning and the whine when they fall prey to another homin.

Now that vanilla role play has become the standard, I guess the next thing is to enforce vanilla style of gameplay. Great way to package and promote it as some sort of moral code.

The Nexus is a primary area for future conflict. It is unique in many ways. The sup spots were not the reason.

Ryzom has PvP Areas, and in these Areas PvP is one of the activities of Ryzom. You may try to sneak through and do something there without PvP. But you have to accept PvP at any time.

And morally... you are not a respected pacifist neutral. You are part of a faction that is at war! If you don't like that, read up on lore and find a better alignment and guild for you. You might get killed fewer times. Short: If you do war, you get war.

You get a Gold Star congrats for helping me see the light and reminding me why I wage a personal war against AoH and was ticketed several times from AoH whining because I played their own game against them... I had thought that this garbage game play was over, silly me.

Good to know that ignorance is still alive and well in this world, I was thinking that maybe game etiquette and common sense had taken over but as a wise man once told me; common sense is not common and the 2 most abundant elements are hydrogen and ignorance...

Let see how long this game will play out before people open up their eyes and remember what made this game before the merger great and why and when action will be taken...

I guess I need to prepare myself again for tickets logged against me and my alt...

Sorry bro, but you are the ignorant here, you are saying because you cant take it, you will break the rules, that means disrespect towards players.... we didnt break the rules, yet you said you did it before and will do it again... I believe you have an attitude problem and have no game etiquette.

You must understand that, if you see me in a PvP map and kill me I wont get pissed of, this is normal behavior, this is expected!

Dont break the rules, just do PvP, like all of us... you are setting a bad example here... and I hope you get banned.

Even though ganking in PvP areas is legal- and you are completely correct in that, what I believe was the fundamental purpose in this post was that your attack was gutless. For people to want to get into PvP they have to see the good side of it. If you want more people to PvP you have to be good promoters of it. If you run around ganking people who aren't ready you will push the vast majority of people away from PvP- not towards it. Yes you may have your 3 seconds of fun but you have just pushed a potential future PvPer away from what is a great sport.

You so easily insult and berate Eutrigan for not having game etiquette but let me ask you this. Do you thinking ganking is a particularly nice thing to do? Sure I have done it many times but to players I know well- and I know they can take it. The proper etiquette in my person opinion would be to offer up a duel and give your opponent time to respond and even walk away if they don't fancy it.

The point is yes you were within the law, but you are pushing people away from PvP with your attitude.

Just a very short word for this provocation:

In the early days, when this happened, we asked a SGM about the policies on the new server. He told us that mob dragging was perfectly legal. Then some got banned by other GMs, for mob dragging, different reasons or no reason at all. Yes, i can prove that easily... not publicly because evidence contains private communication to CSR which is illegal to publish under german law.

Please play by the rules. Do not insult players for playing the game because the insult is an infraction by itself.

Well Virg all they gonna end up with is less and less ppl going to the pvp maps except in big enough groups to not get killed (so no fair pvp there or none at all), and at op wars it's not gonna be 20vs80 but 20vs160 because then every homin in the game is gonna want to kill them.

It is a genuine shame you can't see beyond your own self. I hope someday you release that with such an aggressive attitude you will just drive players away from PvP instead of trying to bring them towards it. My reason for posting on this thread is because I enjoy PvP and want to see as many people as possible joining in. If you get players involved then you can kill them more times when they start tagging up. If you kill a player once then start insulting their "etiquette" when you clearly display none yourself they won't start tagging up and you will only be able to kill them that once.

Please think of the bigger picture here.
