I managed to stay in game for 8 years saving momentos (1st set of Haddo jools) well over a dozen HA sets, NPC sets , Dante and Pei Ruiz sets, regular every day gear, boosted gear, etc....and enough mats to run the HA Mats Bank on Ari.

Yes, in my 1st 6 months i was short on room but as time went on I better understood what was worth keeping and learned to dumo the useless clutter.

OTOH, once merge was announced I watched dozens of peeps grinding with supreme mats for several days .... grinding supreme mats that had been hoarded in apartments and Guild Halls for years. I talked to one player who had 20,000 supreme mats in his GH and he was a one man guild.

More space I see leading to more hoarding and for that reason I voted no, I could see maybe a 25% increase but Id set the price at the same as the original cost and it would have to be renewable.......not often but an ongoing cost.....say each Atyus year..... with a one season grace period before ya lose stuff.

thanks for all the votes thus far, please if you haven't voted, please vote, if you don't really care, how about a yes vote for those that do, lolx, cause honestly, this isn't something that can hurt anyone if they give it to us and some don't use it, that's the idea, to give us an option for something "more"

On previous polls (the prime roots survey), it indicated free players. That could be it here.

f2p votes should say alot here when it's a paid feature they're asking to upgrade, because a f2p alt can't have an apt or GH so it's an option that could maybe one day get them paying money to have.... think about that my friends, someone getting something for those of us that pay to play, sounds good to me, lolx.

ALL VOTES COUNT

please keep it going, regardless of if it seams "dead" it's still getting hits when i check on it. so keep posting and voting please.

I fail to see the logic why the capability of upgrading the appartement would convince a f2p player to subscribe? If packers, and the appartement aren't reasons to subscribe in the first place, how would the option to upgrade the appartement help?

Let's not go down that road in this thread. But there have been so many discussions already about what we need to improve to convince f2p players to subscribe, and I think that whole discussion is ridiculous. There's no cheaper mmo than Ryzom to my (limited) knowledge, and I could have played the past two years completely for free if I wanted to because I did not really make much use of any of the subscription benefits.

If you want to change anything in the game, argue with game mechanics. Convince people about the improvement in gameplay, mechanics, motivation, balance, etc. The argument that we might possibly eventually maybe get one more subscription is overused. I apologize for the harsh reaction. It's just my 2 cents. I don't vote here at all, I don't think this is important in any way.

didn't really mean it quite that way, that this would intice a f2p to sub, i was just pointing out that the f2p votes are kind of silly because they don't own apt's to upgrade, yet they voted too, it would be a nice upgrade.

a solo subbed player might really love to have the bulk of a gh, because they play solo with little or no interaction from other homins, not needing to buy / sell stuff they may not speak to npc's other then trainers and the mission givers. (i played like that for about a year, i was my own everything, did it all in silan, massed a fortune, could craft anything i needed, ect, just always wanted to be able to store mat's for the future, not knowing that wasn't something i could do in silan, in silan the missions expire and that sucked, but on to ML.)

now i need help because of the design, ok, i like that, i'll make friends (i have) i'll join a guild (i have) i'll help others whenever i can (i have), now i want to stockpile goodies in my apt, i'm subbed i want to store stuff, i pay for something like that, i'm not asking them to just give me 10,000,000 (10m) bulk and 100,000 (100k) slots, i'm asking them to make it so i can work towards that, buy having a bulk upgrade, most games don't even have a limit, and it's because they're GAMES, and games are not susposed to mimic real life exactly, somewhat i can agree with, but let's keep some fantasy in the darn game.

You are right to say let us pay for more space. I voted yes to this idea but there have to be limits.

I would love to have unlimited bag space too to carry around all my gear and I would love to be able to change armour and jewel sets in one click. This would make the game too easy. For everything that helps you in the game there has to be a cost, a situation that forces you make a choice, because that is what games are all about.
