To have the possibility to select the text from the chat , in order to copy and paste into an automatic translator.

Pouvoir sélectionner le texte des boites de discussion, afin de pouvoir le copier et le coller dans un traducteur automatique.

There is an automatic tool that can translate ryzom for you using your chatlog, turn on logging by typing '/chatLog' and check sys info then setup the tool if it still works that is.

About selecting text from chat I would love it but I can guess it could become a hinderance? Most ppl use megacorp.io that is running in the background and select the text or links posted in chat there and copy it that way (not perfect since around/region chats can't possible be added to megacorp)

It's a zip of the exe it seems to startup didn't check in ryzom if it actually translated since then I would have had to find somebody that could speak french or other language to me.

It would be awesome to be able to click a link in forums also and have it open your browser to a page without having to do it out of game, Maybe also in chats. Not sure if that would be possible.

Didn't Katomine (still canot spell his name, but something like that) do this about 2 years back? Would have cured a lot of problems I hear

You can always compile your own client from feature-249-cef3 branch which adds Chromium (webkit) offscreen rendering support ;-)

last few times i tried to use casy's AoH translator it wouldn't translate anything, i believe that good old google might have changed something that messed it up. since it's been a while i'll reinstall it and try it again, results to come....

ok just tested it again, nothing, it no longer works, it was the best thing i'd found to translate live chats and it no longer works at all :( guess we're back to doing it the hard way.

Other games - they give you a cookie whether you succeed or not, in fact you don't even have to participate. Ryzom takes your cookie, eats it in front of you, and slaps you 2 or 3 times for bringing a cookie in the first place.

no worries sub, i used it all the time, and it was on my "top 10 best apps for/related to ryzom" list. i would love to see someone else update the app, or to create another similar one. perhaps someone can see if casy posted the source code anywhere and if it's accessible for others to continue / build on the basic program.
