Packers are EXPENSIVE—they cost much more and they consume feed about twice as fast as mounts—and that is fine. Mounts are very inexpensive and that is also fine. However, the value of a packer over a mount does not equal the expense, that is not fine.

Here's the numbers buying 3 of the best packers and taking a journey that requires 1 concentrated bale for a mount which means 2 bales for each packer. I am completely ignoring the bulk of gear and feed in these numbers.

Bulk on packers needs to be increased to match the price difference between mounts and packers. I can go further with mounts than I can with packers due to consumption rates and I can actually carry more for much cheaper with a long train of alts. I'm a homin that rides regularly between Zora and Pyr. Please give us some more room on these expensive beasts. 100 more bulk on a packer to equal a train of alts isn't too much to ask. 300 more bulk on a packer isn't too much to ask considering the price.

mounts where more expencive on old servers before they introduced f2p I think (or where they expencive till reset I forgot)

They just made em cheap for the f2p players I think but better not ask such things or they might just jack up prizes like what they did the cheap tools and pick

never was looking for animal bulk upgrades, because animals can only carry so much before they are full, that much i can understand keeping it somewhat realistic, however, for the "it's a game" angle, i see no reason not to have a way to upgrade bulk and slots for apt's and GH's, because that's for real storage and for all those that wanted to say, there needs to be a limit in apt's and gh's because of storage on the server, one file with all the stuff for one gh/apt is better then 1 main toon's apt/gh, and then 30 alt's for gh's, still wastes the same amount (in fact more space for the data the alt's waste too) then having a single toon with all the stuff in one database file, btw ppl, it's stored in an xml file, so... no logical argument there.

actually i think i found out again what happend in the past.


before f2p mounts had less bulk or slots or something (comon ppl i forgot) and they added some more to make em usable for f2p, then they really dropped the price on them after server merge because tp's cost price wise alot now

mount's only have 300 bulk, but packers have 500 bulk, the price was the changed. not sure if there was anything else changed.

The old amounts made *some* sense. I've yet to ride anything where I can't put more in the saddle bags than I can carry myself (300 bulk for homins and 100 for mounts was odd) but the mount to packer ratio made sense 100 mount and 300 packer. I would simply like to see the ratio spread out to the packers too, especially considering the increased expense of packers.

Exactly what would break if packer bulk was increased 3 times as much from 300 to 900? Who would be harmed if crafters could load up packers with 900 bulk each so they could craft jewels or amps or whatever in bulk rather than craft the same amount of wares over three spread out crafting sessions?

how about this:

get the apt bulk upgrade, you can craft right from the inventory of your apt, use the packers you have like i do, fill them up, move them to your apt, move the stuff in, go in and craft it all out, then repeat, if we get the upgrade for bulk in the apt, then you can fill more and more mat's inthere, and then grind craft longer and longer non stop sessions.

let's do this:

make apt and gh bulk unlimited, and give apt's with 5k slot's, unlimited gh bulk and 20k slot's

never saw a horse in real life that could carry a warehouse worth of stuff at one time, but i've seen ppl build on to said warehouse to put more horse loads of stuff into it.
