The purpose of this post is to serve as a guild-forum for the multi-factional-multi-national-multi-lingual guild currently running under the name of.... well.. Cookies.
The name was picked by mostly females as you may guess but it's also a play on words from this now-famous quote:


We are a group of homins who belong to different guilds thus under normal circumstances it would be messy to guild together. However we would like to work together to make the best out of Atys, with all its difficulties and challengies and frustrations and trials, it's a beautiful rootball and we need to retain the fun factor and helpfulness that seems to be disappearing these days. 

This said, we have done a work-around. A guild really is four elements, the awesome players, the guild channel, the guild forum,and the guild hall.

Guild members:    friendly and helpful, honest and mature
Guild chat:            we use a chat channel to communicate, ask one of the listed contacts for info
Guild hall:             multiple well organised specialised guild halls tailored to your interests
Guild forum:          well.... here it is

If any cookies need gear or advice, want to discuss some atys phenomenon, talk about assmeblies or politics etc, or just post pictures etc all are going to be posted here as replies.

We also use Team Speak (pretty much 24/7 someone is online there) hosted by our Tech Cookie Luciel (ask for more info to one of the contacts below) You are more than welcome to just listen-in and not speak if you wish, transfer of useful knowledge is much faster and we've had karaoke night and other great laughs as a group :)

Part of the whole point here is that we have nothing super secret to hide and anyone reading is likely to learn a thing or two which, to me, is valuable.

Being part of this Guild is not about being powerful, it is playing smart, learning, and helping others.

nice idea eruv, not sure if i have room for another dynamic channel on talkbak, but i'll try to add one if you'll send me a tell with it's name, i'd love to try to offer help and take part in this, as it's a good idea, and a way for players to work together regardless of faction and/or civ ties.

welcome new cookies to the group that knows no bounds. we're here to try to help everyone with anything we can, come on down and see, wait it's hard to track us all down, we're all over the tree doing things, even if it's just slacking off and chatting with an active bunch. we're not a normal guild, as we're all in different guilds in cookies, and have no desire to leave the guilds we're in. still we might be in small guilds, or in big guilds, but regardless we have a extra family of players to work with when we want to, and chat with, and just get into general trouble with around the big tree.

if you like to do your own thing, but every now and then put your two dappers in and help someone with something you have a little know how with, come see us, we're ready to have you around if you choose to be, we just ask that you come with an open mind and a willingness to really work in the bettering of all homin kind, regardless of faction/civ (we don't care if your kami, karavan, (even mara, if you can be a part of the whole that is cookies) fryos,zorai,tryker,matis ; becasue for the pve of the game, none of that really matters, we kill the same bandits on fame missions, we hunt the same mob's, we dig the same mat's, so in the end we're all homin.

i'll see about making a contact's list for the first post of this thread, and please if you speak more then just english and are willing to translate into other forums, please do, we want to spread the word of cookies, and perhaps have a larger network of players that can and will help eachother with this or that.

Do have to say for the week i've been with all of you cookies that I never laughed so hard in this game then just last night where I cryed from laughing for 10 straigth min.

man i am laughing again just remembering , sad i had to sleep and miss the rest hehe

Do you really trust ppl like this to show you how to play the entire game?

 

If not give us a yell and you can still play with these strange creatures in a guild but have a second chat where you can get help, support and loads of laughs from us.

ok so i promised a contact list, and this is not my personal idea (cookies i mean, that's eruv) but i'm a very active player in the group, and much like eruv is the public relations officer for a guild, i guess i'm that guy for cookies (it's a shared role in my guild, we all do it)

but for me to keep my promise i'll tell you these players in game will be good contact points for the cookies group:

** there will be more contacts to follow, these are the only one's i knew i could list without asking them about it first. so if there's any interest in cookies or what we're all about, ask any of these toons in game, if your new to ryzom and don't know how, type "/tell eruv" "/tell talkirc" "/tell marceline" "/tell cyndalia" that will open a privet chat to each of the toons listed (no " marks when using this to send a msg, just type and hit enter, and a tell window will apear to the chosen player)

This looks interesting. i would like to join, but i'm not sure how active am going to be. I used to play a lot of Ryzom for a long time, but got ticked off at the merge when i lost my character. I'm still considering wether i should re-sub or not. At present i'm a lowbie, but IF i re-sub and IF they can recover my toon, i'll have a 4 masters toon including PR forage as one of the master skills.
