i still say put the sand back in the sandbox, make a merchant that sells OP mat's. A flat rate, 1,000,000 (1 million) dappers per mat, the merchants only sell Q250 OP mat's.
OP's offer the owner a chance to get ONE (1) type of mat for free (the mat that OP produces) by owning that OP (which cost's in the long run of defending/owning a drill)
everyone always want's to go on about OP gear being for the pvp players only, why is that, is there a rule that says that PvE players can't get use them? (i know there is not, but that's how the reaction always seams.)
i feel the same way about exel and sup mat's, there should be more then one way to get them, and these options would truely create something to spend dappers on that many would use.
i know my idea doesn't support the main thread topic, but then again, it's about making things in the game more fair to everyone, what's more fair then a merchant that sells the same stuff you can get for free, providing you have to pay richly for them. (imagine the cost of making one set of amps, 20 sup zun = 20m dappers, 1 maga = 1m dappers, that alone is 21m dappers {true dapper sink just for a set of amps})
then suddenly OP's become a true part of the PVP with no limits to players that would rather not get involved in pvp.
if the merchants are added in, then i'm 100% in favor of this single stage OP wars. add a longer wait time for the attack, agree with 48 to 72 hours between declare and attack to give the owners a little time to get the word out. flat cooldown time of 7 days, double production for the first 7 days a drill is up, free (or half price) declare for the pervious owner of the OP.
