OOC: In your effort to sum it up, you happened to ignore this bit, as it started off the whole discussion now (which has, of course, nothing at all to do with this thread, which - I hope - will be cleaned up):

So, to begin with, Fyranna said that the history of Leanon and Aniro is worthless here, as supposedly Arispotle only changed its name to Atys and transferred its history 1:1. I only pointed out that there are points in history where our servers differ and received the answer above.

There could, of course, be made an effort to merge the histories of three servers into one. It's not that I think Leanon's history is best, it's just that I don't want to kill off my character. If everybody agrees to have her or his characters wiped and start all anew, we would be on a same level and could ignore server histories at all (which is what Winch Gate had hoped for anyway, I guess). In a merge, guess who'll loose it's history? I don't know how many Taliar or Akenak Arispotle has now, but I think there's exactly one Noble and probably no Zorai in the Circles. We do have about a dozen Aniro Nobles in Matia, I guess, and many of the Akenak appear to be French. So are you saying you'll throw Arispotle history in the ring for a vote which one will be chosen for a "merged" past?

I guess you don't even try to read the forums of Aniro and Leanon, and therefore you're simply guessing. It obviously will surprise you that on Leanon - and from what I've seen, mostly on Aniro as well - we try not to reflect on the past, because we all try to play together while at the same time try to keep the integrity of our characters. Also, I'm surprised to be told I'm "telling you off" - but then I probably can't make myself better understandable. I was always bad in English at school, so please excuse me for any incorrect spelling, faulty orthographics and bad grammar.

Please respect the author of this post, this is getting far enough away from the created event. Please take your opinions to another forum post or a tell. Thank you for your understanding.

I'm still unsure of which part of all these arguments are OOC / IG / forum character, or whatever.
What I'm sure of is, I - as a player - feel really uneasy with some of the comments exchanged here. Actually, with a lot of them. But I'm trying to teach myself that most of it is definitively IG quarrel, and that I should learn more about "aggressive" RP.
And nonetheless, I expect that, whatever your feelings as players are, you'll understand that a player took of his time to create this RP event, and respect his work.

But, as for me, I've got a request.
Please, if you intend to attend (yes, I know, it's supposed to be Matis/Karavan only, but I've read somewhere that you could try to join if you had a good enough RP-reason), have a thought for me as a translator, and for the non-English speaking players: I'll never manage to keep the kind of pace you've put on this thread.

Copal -- I'm the one who _suggested_ that non-aligned characters might try to join the event if they could RP a good reason. I did that, I thought, as a way to make a suggestion that Emerantius might want to take up.

I'm not going to be available, but I could definitely see Bittty coming up to the party and *asking* Emerantius if he could join the excursion in order to learn more about the Kitins and expand his already extensive knowledge of the current invasion. My feeling was that I suspected that Emerantius might allow that, since I am not *counter*-aligned to the Matis or the Karavan.

Note: *might*. It was only a suggestion.

And I do hope that any EN speakers remember that simple sentences are always easier to translate than complex sentences such as the one I committed above.

I also hope that someone publishes an account of the event to the Event Forum. Please?

As for Daomei: the ones speaking the dialect of Hoi-Cho have for a long time now called her "Ranger" IC purely inofficially, since she grew up with Rangers and has always been speaking up for the Rangers. Her "official" title would be Ranger Companion, true. So it was sloppy IC, which happens often in Ryzom, no?

Hm, Zhoi was told that this homin she should send the letter to is called Syphilin during an Assembly. It was an IC-letter too. As the letter was intended to be sent to the dynastic circle, I considered it as fun to make this name sound a little more Zorai, as Zhoi would of course think of Syphilin as a Zorai, if he or she was obviously working for the dynastic circle.

It's disappoiting that you must be that unhumorous; I remember Icus making "jokes" about skinning and having a barbecue of some Matis, and I believe of Salazar too - which Salazar commented to "Weird. The skin is the best part..."

Ah, I know many Ryzom-players who call Kami-followers simply "Kami". It was quite common on Leanon; especially amongst non-roleplayers, but also even during RP - and I still think this is rather confusing... I remember talking to Lylanea about the Kamis, and she asked me if I meant Kami-disciples instead! So even though I had always watched my words to not confuse others, I was still misunderstood :D

Good to know that your post was meant purely OOC. Wasn't so sure about that.

I do pretty much everything on purpose. Hope this will broaden your understanding :)
