After the server merge we were all granted a stack or 2 (forget exactly) of excel generic mats - these were very nice - i would like some more ;) Because i am primarily concerned with looking good hehe - my main reason is for way to achieve some reasonable stats on armours (ie without stats been nerfed by fine mats) in the basic and fine colours. However they also had other handy uses like producing reasonable grind amp stats at short notice. If they could be made available at each faction item vendor in the faction colours, alongside the choice generics (for a suitable price ofc) i think this would be a great addition

Other games - they give you a cookie whether you succeed or not, in fact you don't even have to participate. Ryzom takes your cookie, eats it in front of you, and slaps you 2 or 3 times for bringing a cookie in the first place.

ive asked for fine ones in civ merchant but no reply there :P

i heard there were also excel mats on kami/kara point merchant but i never had that, still fairly new so, feel a little cheated if others were able to and i cant now, is this so?

When we still had the Kami and Kara Temples, there was a merchant that was selling us faction items. This included Excellent grade Generic Mats, Factioned Picks, Factioned Caster Pants, Factioned Shields.

I have visited the site of the Kami Temple near Pyr, but the "merchant" is not communicating.

From Racial Vendors you should be able to get Chioce grade Generic mats.

During Xmass events there was a very little chance to get 1-4 Supreme Grade Generic mats from 1 Present, but the chance of that type of present to spawn was 1 in 1000.

this is true but... the kami/kara excel generics were white/black i seem to recall which is kindof unhelpful for my point of been able to craft decent gear that is beige, green, pink(purple) or turquoise

although it would be nice to get them back too but not so much for aesthectics
