I raise my Marauder Flag at a q50 OP in Kami lands - Many are upset about this no doubt, However, Taking this OP was with meaning, and perhaps the foundation of something that can change the community as a whole.

My proposal to all kami with the taking of Blackburn Trade Post is simple - I plan on rebuilding a Kami drill since it is indeed on Kami land, I will donate 95% of the mats the drill produces to all kami guilds and keep the other 5% to help my f2p players and other lower levels i know personally.

I have no intention on disrespecting kami by building a karavan drill - but i want to see a heavy change in this game - Heavy RPers need to be apart of this and willing - Hating/Not Rezzing/Not teaming/Leveling/Giving mats to players because of their faction is wrong at certain times - you cant claim that as "Roleplay" 24/7

It is fine to seperate that at major outposts - RP designated events.

Like it or not we are a community. Being a community means we need to seperate roleplay from being the best players we can be to make the entire community thrive - I Have watched way to many friends of 7 years + here quit due to the lack of cooperation in the game now.

People we need to realize HATE is not a form of roleplay. Not rezzing/teaming/leveling with people is NOT roleplay. its poor ethics as a ryzom player - We have to come together and make resolutions.

I actually like the idea of sharing low q OP mats with low lvl players reguardless of factions. I was solo for a long time before joined a guild, barely seen any OP weapons then. It would make lot of new players from silan happy if at least small amount is destributed to them or to the guilds they are in, Instead of having a small inactive guild holding the op, i think that it is better to let more active guilds/players that has proven that they will be around for a long time to manage the op, also willing to take the responsiblilty to actively distribute the mats to many people who needs the mats. Let's think about how many low q op mats went waste rotting in inactive GHs. q50 or q100 op mats might not seem a big deal to a lot of us, but I am sure it will make some players very happy :) And we do need happy homins becasue ryzom do needs to retain more new players.

+1 for community before roleplay....overall objective should be to encourage fun and enjoyment in game. Most low level OP mat just stock up anyway....so why not help get to peeps who will enjoy.

Il n'y a jamais eu autant de cooperation Entre joueur qu'aujourd'hui!
- les marau de chanchey (kara+kami+neutres+marau)
- les autres marau Pei et Dante (kara+kami+neutres+marau en 1 seule equipe)
- les rois (kara+kami... +marau?)
- kara avec des mp d'OP kami
- recettes des metiers données aux refugiés
- expedition aux jeunes pour trouver et obtenir les TP

Je ne dis pas que ce post est une mauvaise idée!!!
Mais evitez les arguments comme celui-ci!

Haïr un maraudeur in game ne signifie pas qu'on meprise le joueur lui-même!
C'est meme parfois amusant et dympatiqie d'organiser des histoires entre les kara, kami, nationalistes et maraudeurs, et créer du combat, des echanges, de la vie pour nos personnages sur Atys.

i think lilz was referencing certain specific players... not necessarily slagging off everyone that roleplays, at least that's how i read it.
let's not get into another argument over role play and peoples values. it's pointless and goes nowhere.
the population of this game is pretty much split three ways: those that rp. those that don't and those that couldn't give a flying monkey's arse either way. let's leave it there.

I'm in agreement of the original sentiment of lilz's post in that community should come first.

part of the idea when we gave our OP's after becoming trytonists was to induce that sharing of mats and support the National roleplay.
I've played plenty pof MMO's and so far ryzom has had the best commyunity, but lately i feel that part of the co,mmunity has turned to hateful RP and making the game into a carbon copy of WoW roleplay (one of the main reasons why many players including me do not play WoW). if that's the RP you want i suggest you migrate to WoW, there are plenty of free private servers, and your roleplay will not omnly be valid, but also encouraged.

As for ryzom i'0ve always felt that pvp came more our of fun than out of hating people, and when the hatred part comes into RP then pvp stops being about fun and takes more about being mad... and personally i just dont pvp with people who i am mad with (let alone help them get OP's, hunting , or such)

Là où je suis étonné, c'est que vous parlez de "RP haineux"
Il n'y a aucune haine envers les joueurs! (les problèmes personnels entre 2 joueurs ne me regardent pas ici!)
Il y a une haine entre un avatar kara et un avatar kami peut être
Il y a une haine entre un avatar Tryker et un avatar maraudeur peut être (oui c'est mon cas)
Mais c'est un jeu... un rôle inventé, je doute que tous les joueurs RP haïssent les joueurs non-RP

Je suis entièrement d'accord avec vous, WoW suffit à ceux qui ne se soucis pas de jouer avec les autres.
Nous serions les premiers à vouloir jouer avec l'ensemble de communautés.
j'aimerai tellement pouvoir organiser une attaque du camps maraudeur (combat equilibré)
j'aimerai tellement que les kara soient assez nombreux pour revoir la "guerre des temples"

Ce n'est pas un "RP haineux" mais plutôt un "RP rival"
les kamis sont plus fort que les karas car plus nombreux.
mais cette "guerre" anime le jeu si les joueurs savent faire la différence entre un conflit entre deux avatars et un conflit réel entre deux joueurs...

Ryzom est un jeu MMORPG, avouez que si tout le monde joue main dans la main avec tout le monde... et bien il n'y a plus de raison d'avoir des factions différentes et des nations différentes, et la lore serait à jeter à la poubelle.
Je suis certain que vous adorez tous Ryzom autant que nous l'adorons. On ne peut pas vous forcer à jouer RP, je suis d'accord, mais vous ne pouvez pas nous forcer à jouer non-RP aussi.

Trouvons un terrain d'entente, s'il vous plait...

jazzy, you're right. what you describe here is rp rivalry:
 I would really like to organize an attack on the camps marauder (fair fight)
I would really like kara are numerous enough to see the "war of temples"

i would support these events 100%, as will i support the current roleplay of GoS.

but with regards to what astarth was saying about "hateful rp" - there are players in game that take it much further than roleplay (seemingly), i have been on the receiving end of numerous hateful tells exclaiming that i am "wrong", i'm an "idiot", "what are you doing with him/her?", "LOL ur a NOOB" - my personal favourite. 
now, i can brush off stupid tells and messages like this but it does grind one down after a while. it makes the game experience miserable.
it's this kind of roleplay that is causing so much animosity. i'm not throwing blame on the rp'ers, not at all, some of the non-rp'ers are just as bad. i'm merely clarifying what people are meaning to say or what i think they are meaning to say.


i applaude you, jazzy, for being a bridge between the non-rp and the rp groups of people. you are valiantly trying to fix the rift, so to speak. 
I'm sure you all love Ryzom much as we love it. We can not force you to play RP, I agree, but you can not force us to play as non-RP.

this is very true and to force one person to play the way of another is wrong. but, like you said, a common ground must be found, it is afterall a sandbox game and people are free to play the game as they desire, be that following a lore or ignoring it completely.
