I agree with you, in this case. In fact the rites are linked to stanzas, so they should have been treated similar to the skills, and never erased from toons.
Anyway after the merge, i accepted the idea to redo the rites, even if a bit annoyed, but the actual problem is that, after more than one year since the merge, the devs have not done anything.
They affect your characteristics and, in a pvp game, they must work for everyone.
Don't misunderstand me: i stopped pvp much before the merge and i'm no more interested in it.

But i'm surprised that people here just don't care to ask the devs to get a really needed fix.

Gilga alot of ppl been asking for them there has been load debates on uni in the past and I'm sure some forum posts. But in the end it's ryzom I guess merge broke alot of things and removed alot of stuff like ryzom ring, rites, appartement inviting (actually this works still for alot of appartements but allowed to say this), appartement decorations (ok those appartement things really don't intrest me but for some ppl it does), connecting to CeB from ingame (if you are not french for them it works),  our way of playing and rp (to each it's own), advanced occupations, campifire building (why I ask you why??), ...  Probably alot more but after waiting 1.5years for most to get fixed you start to forget what you got.

What did we get is an out of game fancy chat (I guess it's usable for some ppl if you factor in the security threat), termites (for a really selct few players) and new horizons (with most boring mission ever but I guess if you are like me and don't craft you are forced to do this to make some money to buy for your teleports; but if you are like me and are a marauder and don't craft then you are actually forced to have an alt to make some money on them, who ever decided this should have been shot on the spot a game forcing a player base (even if its small just me i've been paying an playing this game for 8years of wich 6or so happy last 2years made the game unplayable) to forcibly use an alt to play the game are just insane, oh and 3 lores weren't enough not they added a 4th totally new lore but we are not allowed to use it ingame)

Concerning the Trykers and Lake Materials rite, I just would like to clarify something:

This rite is supposed to add an Extraction Time Bonus. I don't know if it's true, but what I am sure is that after passing the rite you can dig sources that you didn't prospect and recover your concentration.

I have tested this just before and after doing my rite.
