Considering how many skillpoints i have left over with nothing to spend em on, I don't see it necessary. Just keep leveling, or if you just started, you can always start a new character and avoid the mistakes. You will get skillpoints for everything you want soon enough.

Eh, you just have to branch out your skills. Level up ranged, level up one handed + CC, don't stick to 2H (as I've seen many beginners tend to). Level up afflictions and healing (not only offensive magic), you'll be swimming in magic points before you can say "yubo".

very true, with enough lvl's you will have points to spare, it's just really slow to start with getting enough to do much, so if you feel you made a mistake, play with that, lvl up more, and fix it, lolx, and yes try to do as many branches as you can in each skill, thus helping to pile up the points

Other games - they give you a cookie whether you succeed or not, in fact you don't even have to participate. Ryzom takes your cookie, eats it in front of you, and slaps you 2 or 3 times for bringing a cookie in the first place.
