I don't think turning boss spawn areas into pvp zones is a good idea at all. Daomei was right when she said there is a decent amount of pvp opportunities in the game, but not enough demand for it. You can't really force pvp down the throats of PVE players and expect this will create a healthy competitive atmosphere for the game. It won't solve the lack of pvp issue.

The only thing I disagree with is this:
Daomei
... All practices, including the filthiest ones like dragging agro, attacking tagged teammates to render them unhealable for non tagged ones ...

Attacking tagged players is not a filthy tactic at all. Tagged pvp is consensual. If you are a non-pvper and you have a tagged member in your team fighting a boss, that person is consenting to be attacked at any time, anywhere. It's her choice. Nothing wrong with that. If it bothers you, you could just ask her to untag during the boss fight.

Personally, I consider aggro dragging a perfectly valid tactic during pvp fights, specially if you're outnumbered during SN fights for example. But I understand it's against the CoC and frowned upon in PVE zones. Also it's pretty lame to do that in a pve zone anyways, since the offended party can't really fight back.

Riku,

I do not and will not comment on PvP between players practicing PvP, as it is not my business. Sometimes, I recognize bitterness and aggression among PvP players, despite their claim that PvP is harmonious, but again, that is what PvP players have to sort out. They should have fun, and as far as they have, I wholeheartedly wish them joy and fun.

So all my comments about PvP play have to be taken with a grain of salt. It is a view from outside.

Attacking tagged players is covered by the rules, no doubt. But when I take a tagged player into my mostly non tagged team, I risk that attackers disrupt my team by attacking those players. Usually, I would ask those players to untag in order to avoid disruptions. But as you know, this causes delays.

Under my opinion, intentionally attacking a tagged player in a mostly non tagged team during PvE activities is filthy, though not a breach of rules. And an attack at such player during boss fights is unsincere and unfair, under my opinion. Not that it touches me a lot, I usually do not need more than 4-5 participants in a boss fight (except Pei, Dante, Jukoo, and NPC bosses, of course).

But interference into a running boss fight is sort of griefing. And I do not see many ways to improve that. I even have negative feelings towards such practices in LoU and Nexus.

A pvp player attacking a tagged teammate does not render that teammate un-healable, that would only occur if the tagged teammate attacked another tagged player.

It is somewhat complicated at Jukoo's place to prevail over intruding KP in a small team while fighting the boss. Sometimes, even two KP arrive.
