i feel your pain bones and i do what i need to do as well, but 200,000 would be the greatest extreme i think, after all 400k mat's is 400 stacks of mats, if there's 100 mat's that's 4 stacks each (i believe there's over 100 different mats in game). also because gear can't be repaired or sold to others once it's worn a little you have two choices destroy it or try to store if for the next young homin to use. gear doesn't ware out nearly as fast as we grind up levels, so unless you ware crappy gear till you have a master in melee and one in magic (one for the armors and jewels, the other for amps) you waste a large number of mat's in the log run.

there's more to store in ryzom then just mat's to craft with, there's lot's of different types of gear, be it armor, weapons, or even jewels. and there's lot's of Q's that those various items could cover.

Buying it with just dappers is boring.

Use it to generate additional gameplay:
- it costs dappers to hire the carpenter
- the carpenter needs wood, and resin, and bark, and fibres to build this. *You* are required to provide it.

The quality of the material goes into the resulting extension (like size, storage volume).

Allow several upgrades for the guild hall which can be ordered sequentially. Each subsequent upgrade costs considerably more than the previous one (but only gives the same benefit).

Add to roleplay: Make these guild halls visible on the maps. If need be, existing buildings and textures could be reused. There's a lot of towers and small buildings available. Allow to change their appearance (aka change texture) to vary depending on the materials which have been supplied. Maybe use also the mission materials to colour them at the same time.

Also, unbind the guild hall on the OPs to the "central" guild hall. Make them separate guild halls, which belong to the same guild. This encourages more travel. This alone will make OP posession already again interesting due to its increased storage space (material stored on OP guild halls could be raided, which could be defended again - thus introducing an additional mode of PvP where you don't have to contest the complete control)

bump would LOVE to see an OFFICIAL POLL from the dev's on this topic, i'm sure it would be massively in favor since it's been requested since the nervax days of ryzom.

Wenn die Vergrößerung der Halle auf der Insel ein Problem mit der Größe darstellt, könnte eine weitere Lagerhalle auf der Insel errichtet werden, die wie jedes andere Gebäude gebaut werden kann, das nur geöffnet werden kann, wenn man sich auf der Insel befindet, oder gibt es eine andere Möglichkeit?

Wenn die Vergrößerung der Gildenhalle ein Problem darstellt, weil die Datei zu groß ist, könnte eine weitere Lagerhalle auf der Gildeninsel hinzugefügt werden, die wie die anderen Gebäude gebaut werden kann und deren Registerkarte sich nur öffnet, wenn man sich auf der Insel befindet, eine weitere Option sein?

Ich kann es kaum erwarten, bis die Option zum Hinzufügen von 9 weiteren Tabs (jeweils ein weiteres GH an Speicherplatz und Slots) live geht!!!! ULUKYN hat mich seit der Ankündigung während eines kürzlichen Ryzom-Schmiedetreffens in Atem gehalten, die beste Neuigkeit, seit ich zurück bin!!!!

so aufgeregt zu sehen, dass dies endlich nach 20 Jahren des Bettelns von so vielen von der User-Basis, endlich nicht brauchen diese zusätzlichen Gildenhallen, einige dieser armen f2p gh Inhaber werden bald nie das Licht der atys wieder sehen.....
