first time in the forest after an enormous and ridiculously dog-filled trek from zora.. arrived (eventually) in yrk for the tp and my guild leader says she needs to go leaving me in yrk alone and no idea where to go. not a problem normally but this time i decided to go on a wander against all my better judgement. i look around the map and see "arena" - sounds interesting i thought, now bear in mind that this is at christmas time and and i may have been drinking sherry.. a lot, i go to see what this arena is; dodging dog attacks and the usually stuff i finally arrive at the arena and go in for a look around.. no sooner than i have taken two steps and a brief pan of the camera i see for a fleeting second a giant snowman with a devilsh grin moving toward me at great speed in a kind of floating demonesque manor. i simultaneously soiled my pants and bumped my death penalty up to a not so subtle 400k! awesome! merry f*cking christmas from atys ;P

word of advice: auto run is a big killer, there's aggro, goo, and more aggro.

worst one was prob due to goo in void, but i have done it a few times on my silan alt forgetting that while i can survive most all aggro there and out run them, the goo isn't as forgiving.

and marceline, i remember my first encounter with a snowman, pretty much the same results, but i went towards it thinking it was a decoration or the possibility that it would give me a atymas gift, the only gift i got was more DP, lolx.

ahh the dp of going afk suddenly, then comming back 20 minutes later to find yourself at a random respawn, a quick look at system info shows that an ulgy named dog must have been roaming near by.

my advice from this, just because you think your out of range of aggro, doesn't always hold true in the end.

(i figure that one of the non-aggro mob's close by might have dragged the dog on me)

Was digging in PR (FD), with my mektoub at kami tp. Decided to try to kill a kincher attacking a lumper nearby but ran out of sap, so i ran back to the tp for safety. Didn't know a nearby Mektoub decided to become 'Social,' or i hit him somehow, not sure what happened, so he came after me at the tp and killed me and my Mek! I was a bit stunned at what happened. Never heard of a mek killing a mek before. XD

another of those funny afk deaths.... went afk in a safe place, no aggro ever... until a kitin mound event pops on your head.... and i'd just gotten rid of max DP before going afk, lolx.
