I had thought about that too, instead of going through the long complication of making it possible to return to f2p status after p2p, I do like the idea of the possible option for anyone to pay one-month's fee to just transfer their character to the new merged server, not permitting anything else p2p, thereby not making any account "locked-in" to pay forever


I am extremely happy that a celebrated player has suggested this, therefore I'm less likely to be shot at :)

But in seriousness, the game-makers could have a nice amount of one-time income on this option

I want to pay for some of my friends to keep their characters, I'm happy to dip into my wallet to do it
