*Zhoi puts up an official-looking letter to Arrlon *

Honored Ambassador Arrlon,

I ask of you to forward the following letter as soon as possible to the Sharükos or his direct representatives, maybe via the Senate:

Highly respected Emperor Sharükos Lykos,

I apologize in advance that I am forced to approach you with a rather unpleasant matter to request your valued judgement.

The situation is such, that after a mostly private talk between Akenak Icus, Akenak Rollocks, Akenak Gunbra and myself defamatory rumours have started in the burning desert about my person.

The defaming allegations of these three Akenak have already spread by gullible homins all over Atys as I heard (ingame) - and now even Ambassador Arrlon wrote an official letter to the Circles of Zorai in which he claimed that I had acted improprietously and that he wants to adress this publicly at the next Assembly. In an open letter he explained he had understood my words as an insult to the Emperor.

This discrediting reflects (and already has reflected) on all Zorai through me as a representative of the Circles of Hoi-Cho. So I cannot accept this and have to demand an official apology from the four Akenak who have are guilty of slander, in order to redeem my name and rehabilitate my reputation.

Should you, highly esteemed Sharükos Lykos, adjust that I am to blame to have insulted you or your people, than I will of course be willing to bow my own knee instead and apologize honestly from my heart for this, since such insults have surely not been my intention - on the contrary.

I am passing my transcript of the events with confidence to your hands and ask you to please be so kind to judge, so the according steps can be taken soon and the aspersion will stop attracting increasing attention.

I bow to you with utmost deference
Zhoi
representative of the Circles of Hoi-Cho

On a formal note: the term "Akenak" is used on purpose, because the Akenos' of the cities have in this case spoken as Akenak for the whole Empire.

Senlin walks through the streets of Zora and is still upset.

This is not the right way to react. What happened? Several fyros officials broke the rules and unwritten laws of hospitality, behaved like savage frahars, insulted and humiliated a Zorai ambassador and other foreign representatives. Afterwards, they invaded an assembly of the circles in the cities of intuition, two of them harassing the audience with untrue assertions, one of them behaving like a drunken bar brawler. In their statements they insulted the Kami, blasphemed about Ma-Duk, offended the whole Zorai people as "weak and timid", "sucking Gingos" and "dogs" due to their respect for their spiritual and political leader.

And what does the theocracy do? I am disappointed. Sure, we Zorai think before acting. But we should not hesitate forever. Instead of subservient letters, the theocracy should ask the Sharükos and the Imperial Senate directly and unapologetically whether the breach of the alliance as Akenos Rollocks, Icus and Gunbra are practising is official policy of the Empire of the Burning Desert. We then may prepare for and strengthen our defenses.

If Sharükos Lykos sticks to the heritage of his late great father, I cannot imagine that they want to go so far. But it is their duty to tame the rabid savages in their institutions.
