The Wrath of Atys is a fun, helpful guild! We are still a small guild, based in Fairhaven, but we love taking in new players, and we have the ability to easily equip new players and members as well! We hope to start growing!

Well... it's easier to look like a god or a white knight on silan, easier to be more impressive-seeming than in reality. i have finished silan several times I know how to walk the walk, the hero-worship does happen sometimes

That's a good point. I actually made this guild with a different character before I was in the Mainland, and while i was in the guild in Silan, people asked me if they could join, so I let them.

its the point that ppl see a guild on silan and think "i wanna be in a guild too" and then they ask you. They dont know if u are neutral or kami or kara or mara or which race your guild join. Maybe they dont know that there are such differences. They just want join to be in a guild and in my eyes thats not ok.

so in my oppinion it should be forbidden

I completely understand, trust me I know I've been there asking to be in a guild cuz it sounds cool. However I have met people on Silan who do ask the questions about our alignment and who we are as a guild and then they opt to join or not, because they plan to come to the Mainland soon. I understand and respect your opinion, but yes we have officers in Silan, and if someone wants to join, we will let them and we will help them to get to the Mainland.

I think the rule used to be Silan-only guilds, if you really wanted to have one there.

But *until* this rule goes in effect again and/or people start frowning upon Mainland guilds recruiting in Silan .. I think we could cut Wrath some slack. At least they don't spam blind invites, and try to help their guild members.

I do see the points being made here, and i appreciate the support from Mjollren. As he said we do not blindly recruit and when someone on Silan asks us about the guild we tell them about our guild and to also check out this forum to see if another guild seems to fit their personality and in game goals before making a decision. I have trekked with Mjollren along with others in Wrath so he knows a little more about how we operate.

I meant that we help them while they are in Silan and we help them to better understand the game before making the trip to the Mainland. Obviously anyone can leave at any time with no help.....

And besides, we're not the only guilds who recruit there. There are many guilds who do, and I have seen some guilds run through an area of Silan spamming people with Guild Invites, and I know because they sent one to one of my characters once. But we don't do that, so I don't see how this is such a huge problem.
