IDEAS FOR RYZOM

Missionen "belohnen": Nations-/Fraktionspunkte + Lore

Um es unseren GMs leichter zu machen, möchte ich den Vorschlag von mir - zu den ritenlosen Missionen - versuchen, auf Englisch zu übersetzen, wenn es genehm ist?

I'd like to see players using the feature "missions" more often. Missions that have no connections to any rites as of today could be made more attractive with only little changes, like:

1. please reward each mission with a small amount of faction points (Kami/Karavan) or nation points - the kind you can get by carrying packages to the camps of nations or by donating mission materials at the 4 "starting" camps close to the capitals. You could get faction-points for fulfilling missions of the tribes, or nation-points for tribes that are close friends to nations. Ideally the amount of faction-/nation-points should vary depending on the level and difficulty of the mission, so scouting missions without time restrictions to just one destination should be rewarded the less while crafting-missions should be rewarded highly.

2. please reward each mission with a small part of the lore of Atys as well. One sentence would be enough! It would be okay to use bits of the lore that's already been released in the Ryzom Wiki. These bits of lore could be collected in a very simple lore-window (one more page to the "Web"-Window like for Crafting Recipes or Profile) and could such be differentiated from the enzyklopedia connected to rites, since rites usually come with much more spectacular rewards ;)

3. oh yes: showing a number of how many different missions the character has fulfilled would be really nice as well :) Some people might like that kind of stuff

4. to make this feature even more attractive you could ask around what kind of simple stuff players would like to "buy" from the nation-/fraction-dealers, like maybe "eggs" (the kind you could get at the Easter-events or for Christmas in the past) or Rybambel-collection-stuff for your appartment...
