For people who don't have time to check new topics on forums, it would be very cool to have (a) RSS feed(s) or emails notifications.

Previous forums allowed that so we never missed new events but since it's impossible :(

Please could you implement that ? :)

I think it would be a very useful feature.

Sorry for posting in a relatively old thread.

I ran into issues parsing the RSS feed with common PHP aggregators such as SimplePie or MagpieRSS. The forum XML is perfectly valid, but these libraries seem to cringe at the format of the feed URL (probably at the rss/{forum_id} descriptor).

For the record, what worked for me was to create a local proxy to read the XML under a simpler URL format (e.g. feedproxy.php?f=1839).

Email notification of new posts and izam mails can now be enabled through the forum options.
