Never seen the borders defended before and where was the threat? Nobody was threatening the Fyros. We were planting trees and flowers until we were told by the Prince that the Fyros decided to threaten us with troops on the border! And i was provoked they attacked a poor innocent matis trying to explore atys!

That poor innocent matis was a spy on Fyros lands and treated appropriately. As far as what lies your prince tells you that is of no importance to me. As I said we have an eyewitness to your illegal actions on Fyros lands. You attacked first period.

The Nobles are aware of the antics of our overzealous Prince, and though I can hardly claim his actions don't represent the Kingdom (as by definition they do), I would ask the Akenak to show some patience (not the Fyros' strongest point, I know) with our inexperienced heir, who is no doubt influenced by his corrupt bride-to-be. I am sure the King and Queen will draw the line soon.

Psst, Meagon, you know they have a point there. First the Prince rejects you as his bride, then sends you off on a mission that'll either end in your death or with you getting the blame. And makes you a 'corporal' but tells you to provide your own troops? I think he's just trying to get rid of you because he thinks you're a threat to his rule somehow. You might want to be careful.

The prince might be affraid that Meagon wanted to marry him only to take his place on the throne, and by judging on his recent choices, both in politics and in bride-to-be, she probably should have. *smirks*

Meagon wanted to marry the Prince because she considered herself to be the most suitable Matis to carry on the great tradition of Matis royalty.
And seeing the other contestants at the ball I'd have to agree with her.
