Enemy death animations can be too long and slow.
Sometimes it's quicker to kill three opponents in a row than to wait for the loot to fall from one.

You've just found the technique to overcome this yourself. Kill several at once, then pick them up.

further more: ryzom isn't a rush rush rush game, ryzom is a play for decades and still have stuff to do game. (personally i have over 2 YEARS of play time, and still have more then half my skills to master, still have many tribal fames that need to be worked on, ect.)

Other games - they give you a cookie whether you succeed or not, in fact you don't even have to participate. Ryzom takes your cookie, eats it in front of you, and slaps you 2 or 3 times for bringing a cookie in the first place.
