Contexto

Fragmento encontrado en el kitinero de Bosque Almati, al lado del cuerpo sin vida de Orphie Dradius.

Análisis

Un ojo entrenado rápidamente reconoce en este fragmento una sección cónica del abdomen de una kirosta, caracterizado por un extremo bífido compuesto de un epiprocto pronunciado y un aguijón.

El abdomen de kirosta consiste de cuatro segmentos:
  • Primer segmento, conectado al tórax (prosoma), ascendente;
  • Segundo segmento, posicionado verticalmente, descendente y muy estrecho en su unión con el tercero;
  • Tercer y cuarto segmento, posicionado horizontalmente entre las largas patas del artrópodo.
El fragmento contiene los segmentos 2 a 4, y los apéndices completos. Es así un abdomen que ha sido cercenado entre el primer y segundo segmento. El tamaño del abdomen es relativamente pequeño de kirosta, lo cual lo ubica entre los abdómenes de las kirostas “irritada” e “indignada”.
El color del espécimen es totalmente singular y fascinante, de un negro que no refleja ninguna luz, emitiendo solo algunos destellos bermellón que forman puntos o líneas, dependiendo del ángulo de observación. Este color nunca había sido observado antes, excepto quizás en los varinx nativos de las Raíces Primarias o los gibbaïs.

Primera hipótesis: esta kirosta podría ser una espécimen mutante, seleccionado por su colmena debido a su color que permite el camuflaje en sitios oscuros.

Descomposición acelerada.

Tres días después de haberse entregado a la Academia, el fragmento comenzó de emitir un olor muy fétido y se formó un moho negro sobre la quitina.
A los cinco días su condición se había deteriorado mucho más y la quitina se puso blanda.
Así que ordené que la muestra fuera cortada en tres partes (los tres segmentos) y cada uno fuera se estabilice en su estado original en una estrofa de Daisha.

Eine schreckliche Vorstellung.

Vor langer Zeit, während einer der ersten Expeditionen in den Almati-Bau hinab, fanden wir Eier welche, durch unsere Anwesenheit angeregt, Kipuka und Kinrey entließen. The whole thing was a disgrace. If Cegrips could not come up with something spectacular from the samples, this would not go down as the most shining hour for both Cegrips, nor Pyr Academy. And as far as the Rangers were concerned, they hardly learned more than they already knew.

Tao-Sian gave me a Daisha stanza containing a fragment of a Kirosta dart.
