Haido Xuan, the Dynastic Gardener, was in a hurry not to be late for her appointment with Mabreka. Her mission in Nexus was going pretty well. Since the barkquake, she had seen the region change and the emergence there of plants from other areas was intriguing to her. Le jour se lève sur la rampe qui descend depuis le Nexus vers le vortex du Gouffre d'Ichor. L'automne est là et la vie commence à s'assoupir doucement.
Be-Pian Biani regarde le Grand-Sage, Mabreka.
— Nous sommes prêts, Ma'Kwai. Les Recycleurs ont œuvré avec diligence. Nous avons un berceau pour transporter la stèle. Et mes guerriers assureront la tranquillité du convoi.
— As-tu prévu ce qu'il faut aussi pour la stèle de l'Initiée Busang ?
— Yui, Ma'Kwai, même si je ne comprends pas pourquoi elle doit être déplacée, elle aussi.
Le mécontentement de la Cheffe de la Compagnie de l'Arbre Éternel transparaît malgré sa déférence et son masque.
— Il est bon que ces deux chemins se côtoient, comme un rappel que nous sommes tous des homins. L'initiée perdue et le Sage en symbiose avec Atys. Leurs chemins se croisent et se mêlent.
Le silence dure quelques secondes mais Be-Pian Biani finit par approuver d'un hochement de tête.
— Il est temps.
Mabreka commence à s'éloigner en direction de la Colline Martelée, suivi de sa garde rapprochée. Tout le convoi s'ébranle à sa suite.

Éveillés, Initiés, amis de la Théocratie,

La stèle du Sage Saison a rejoint la Colline des quatre saisons, en compagnie de celle de l'Initiée Busang.
