Yuboball rules

In Yuboball, two teams will try to score goals on a yuboball field.
The ball is a Yubo that will be placed in the middle of the field. The Yubo won't move on its own until the start. The players are only allowed to move the Yubo by taunting him. It is not allowed to kill the Yubo, to move him with help of the fear spell or to use any ability on him other than taunt.
The players try to pull the Yubo into the goal of the other team by using Taunt.
the trick is to get the attention of the Yubo and to drag it into the direction of the other team's goal as long as it is attacking you. Other players will taunt it away from you, so you have to be fast - but not too fast or you will lose his attention!

The teams will consist of 3 to 4 players each (depending on total number of homins attending this contest) and each team match will take a minimum of 10 minutes with a change of sides after 5 minutes. If there are only few teams, this time may be increased.
Depending on the number of teams there will be either a league system or just play-offs.
The event team will provide simple shirts for the characters to wear. Feel free to give your team a funny or impressive name!

The Yuboball contest will take place next to Sirgio's camp (Tylini Gate on the map) in Hidden Source. This location can be reached easily from the Kami or Karavan teleporter in Hidden Source, the portal to the Thesos region or the Marauder's camp.

I must say on behalf of the homins a big thank you to the event team for organising the games as the homin representative who took the oath i do hope as many of you goto the closing and enjoy your selves and show your thanks as i cant be there i will be stuck in a hot kitchen cooking my heart out . Hello,

I am pleased to have participated in the Games Atys,
I note however some strange results.
I wish the 5 results below is controlled so as verify that these homines homins and have well realized the marathon and triathlon following the rules (I think teleportation (although I do not see how) or use a mektoub)
Marathon :
1 - Arkisbroken 1:26 2 attempts
2 - Kilvaner 14:26 2 attempts
3 - Choupinete 17:45 2 attempts
4 - Sharleen 19:47 2 attempts
Triathlon C :
1 - Achilleos 3:38 1 attempt

For other scores and other games, I hope that the rules were observed by participants, although I regret that many players waited until the last day to make their attempt instead to participate together in the other days ....

I also hope that at the closing ceremony there will be an award ceremony.

Dans mon cas, pour le Triathlon C, il s'agit effectivement d'une erreur de ma part.

J'ai fait la reconnaissance des points de passage en Mektoub sans penser que ça validerai un temps.

Pourriez-vous le supprimer? D'avance merci !

For the marathon, it could be done in about 20 minutes, but i have seen some of these names attempting on toub....^^

My best was around that time (on foot, using speed-eggs etc.), but missed a checkpoint on the road to Yrkanis.

It was just disappointing to see the times under 2 minutes, so it just took away the fun and i stopped attempting to do better, because it was clearly pointless to do so. Wich is a shame, once in a while you see players asking for events, so i find it very disrespectfull to the volunteers who are attempting to make this game even more fun to play... the event team.

So next time you find a bug or a fault in ARK ( wathever that is ^^), please don't exploit it just to show off, clearly it isn't appreciated by other players. (like me)

To those who did it on mount... well that was clever...but you will never know how fast you could it on foot. I was glad to find out it could do it faster then i could imagine. It took some cleverness too, but all was in the boundaries of the rules. That gave me some satifaction.

Reyfia, pour répondre à ton interrogation, je pense que tu as oublié que l'on pouvait utiliser les oeufs d'accélération que tu récupères lors des events de pâques, qui me semble-t-il sont autorisés d'où ces résultats.
Je pense que pour la première place, il doit s'agir d'un bug ou un exploit.
Quand aux 2,3 et 4 ème place, étant qu'ils ont des temps plus rapprochés, je pense qu'il s'agit de résultat sans tricherie.

Il ne faut pas oublier aussi que la plupart des gens prennent leurs vacances au mois d'août et donc cet event est plutôt mal placé dans le calendrier. Même s'il respecte celui des JO.

Merci pour ces précisions, je n'ai pas connaissance de ces oeufs d'accélération, mais à par invulnérabilité, il est clairement indiqué de ne pas utiliser d'autre trucs.... de plus Choupinette a clairement fait le marathon à toub, repérée par quelqu'un...

I walked straight between each checkpoint without stopping and without egg accelaration, 4 minutes earned with eggs maybe possible ... must still have this eggs ... !! and if this eggs is ok for the Atys Games, it will be explain in rules. I will not bother to do the race without those eggs ...

It is not allowed to use any Speedbuffs . You are alloweed to use protecting Buffs like invulnerable.

I see only authorized protections ... acceleration egg is not a protection ???

Concernant le temps de Choupinete sur le marathon, elle s'était également trompée et l'a fait en toub, elle a contacté elle même Tykus pour le signaler et il ne sera donc pas compté mais c'est regrettable que ça n'ai pas été modifié pendant l'event pour plus de clarté. J'ai également constaté des gens le faire en mektoub et descendre à chaques checkpoint, je ne sais pas si leur temps sera validé mais dans le doute, j'avoue que ça m'a passée l'envie d'y participer...

Et je déplore un peu aussi comme toi Refyia l'attitude "stratégique" de certains qui semblent avoir essayé de faire un temps le tout dernier jour pour ne pas laisser aux autres le temps de faire mieux, mais bon, c'était prévisible, anticipé et surmonté pour ma part à la course de mektoub, j'ai repris la premiere place dans la sueur et les lags et j'espere que mon temps actuel tiendra, la victoire n'en sera que plus belle, et si il ne tient pas je suis pret ! La fin est a 21h et on fera les comptes à ce moment là, c'est le jeu ^^ Et puis il y a aussi des gens qui rentrent de vacances juste maintenant... il ne faut pas se relacher avant la fin :)

Well, i personally read it as no speed up, mek, teleport or speed eggs, all other eggs or stanzas are allowed... but maybe i understood wrong, i'm just a human after all :D

Alors pour ma part il est évident que je refuse le prix. (si il y en a un bien sure. A mon 1er essai j ai fait 30 ou 35 min en relavant et indiquant tous les point de contrôle sur ma carte. Il est possible de descendre a 25 minutes ce temps en restant dans les clous.

Mon 2eme temps vient d'oeufs d'accélération, je voulais voir comment on pouvait descendre sous ces 25 minutes et la surprise....tu exploses le score ! (course en full oeuf et sans en casser :p )

Et là ma question : pourquoi ne pas avoir fait comme avec la course de toubs une restriction obligatoire ?
Et une affirmation : celui ou celle qui n a utilisé que son speed traditionnel est indetectable (ou qq oeufs d ailleurs)

QQn qui va mettre un chrono et bouffer des oeufs juste ce qu il faut pour passer devant l autre ou claquer son speed pour gagner les secondes qu il a de retard....il aurait mieux valu autoriser le speed traditionnel ou le bannir ( un peu comme le camping de roi au passage :p)

Oui, les devs ont pris conscience de la vérification non-suffisante et un nouveau outil pour créer des courses, avec tout les exploit vérifié est en cours d'être développé

J'ai eu contact avec Tykus, qui m'a informé que malheureusement il ne pouvait agir sur le tableau des scores.

Après de multiples tentatives, je m’aperçois que le dernier temps effectué est affiché également, indépendamment du meilleur temps.

Voir le screen ci-dessous. Course C du triathlon.



Serait-il possible de prendre en compte ce temps éventuellement?
