This started occuring on November 20 2015 at about 9:31 PM
MST (GMT-0700) when I logged in.

I am getting the following error showing up in my
Sysinfo Window.

I was unable to copy and paste it out but I did take a screenshot
of the error.

Can some one please look at this issue please?
It occurred as soon as I logged into the game.

Is it affecting your gameplay?  It looks like a one-off error, probably caused by a communication glitch.

It is also unrelated to the Web Apps.  You're more likely to get a responsive reply if you submit a help ticket or write to support@ryzom.com with an attached jpg of your screenshot.

Well it is a bug and I should be able to post it here in the "Support" area to get a response.

The bug should really be found and fixed up which is why
I am posting it here.

Who is this Bitttymacod that they think they can post here
telling me not to post a bug on the forums in the Support
area.

This is the SUPPORT area that this was posted in this is
the right area to post this in. Please just go away Bitttymacod you are not a moderator here this bug needs to be fixed.

This is the support area for the Web apps.

I was not telling you not to post here, but suggesting that better response might be had by following my instructions.

Since it is not an error that everyone gets, it is almost certainly not a problem with the server or the basic client software.

I am not a moderator.  If I was a moderator, I could have moved your post.  I'm just an opinionated Tryker who tries to help people.

By the way, no matter where you post it, it is important that you give your operating system (there are three different clients for WIN, MAC and Linux), and what version of the client you are running. This allows both the support staff and knowledgeable players to more easily help you.

If the bug is not affecting your gameplay, then it is a much lower priority than if it is causing problems.

Well you are wrong if you look at it .. it says
Technical Support / Web Apps Bugs

So this area is used for BOTH technical support
AND Web App Bugs.

Once again if a person finds a big in the game they should
be able to post it here when they find a bug with this
game.

Once again you have no right to tell people not to post here
so please keep your opinions to yourself.

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate (64 bit) as well for my operating system.

Once again this is a bug and it should be fixed which is why
I posted it here. If you are not a moderator or a staff / CSR
then Bitttymacod please don't tell me what to do.

I am offering advice. 

My interpretation of the header, and that of most people using the forums is that "Technical Support / Web Apps Bugs"  means that this is Technical Support specifically for Web Apps Bugs.  This has been reinforced in the past.

I made suggestions to you based on that commonly accepted reading.  You are under no obligation to take my advice.  It's just that my experience is that you'll get better results if you follow it.

Once again:  I. Am. Not. Telling. You. What. To. Do.

Please note: as far as we know there is one (1) dev.  Bugs that apply to only one person and do not affect gameplay will not receive high priority.  Have you attempted re-intallation of the client?  If not, that is certainly going to be the first advice from any CSR or dev.

The reason is that Ryzom is free and open source software, mostly. The bugs relative to the client are managed by the ryzomcore project on Atlassian : https://ryzomcore.atlassian.net/wiki/display/RC/Ryzom+Core+Home

Here can be managed the bugs relative to the Ryzom part only : the Web Apps are not opensourced now, and the missions or ingame bugs like the second you posted are property of Winch Gate

For the record: these eLua errors come up from time to time. I raised a support ticket regarding one such occurence, and the answer was pretty much "Please ignore this, unless it is affecting your gameplay somehow. We know of the errors but they are not relevant for you."

So, judging from that response, I would presume two things:

- this "bug" isn't as severe as you make it look ("omg FIX IT NOW!!!!1one")
- you would get a similar answer if you raised a support ticket :)

Also for the record, tickets are answered much faster, and only by support personnel. In forums any player may answer and give suggestions. You lack reading comprehension if you think he told you not to post.

Well it may not be a "critcal bug" but it is something that shoudl be looked at
still and should be reported what is wrong with people here why is everyone
on my back for reporting a bug ussally developers like it when the players
report a bug. Come on guys I am a new player here just trying to get a
couple of bugs fixed up Take it easy on the new players around here
will ya.

And Bitty you are wrong look at the title it says Technical Support / Web Apps Bugs.

Well it may not be a "critcal bug" but it is something that shoudl be looked at

You may encounter some lua errors from time to time because client is fetching some scripts from web and older clients downloaded from ryzom.com sometimes fail to parse them properly.

Newer clients from Ryzom Core sources, should not have that problem.

It isn't wrong to post bugs. And if it is at wrong place it Will Be moved.

BUT i interpreted your request rather harsh. It just isn't a priority If it doesnt affect gameplay. You Must also realise that all CSR and stuff is volontary work, so the one dev doesnt have Time to look at every small bug.

If you want you could also fix it yourself, as the client is opensource.

First off it is not in the wrong area and my request isn't "harsh" at all
I am tired of being picked on by the players here.

All I am asking is that the bug be fixed that is in NO way harsh
at all.

It is a bug and it SHOULD be fixed no matter how small it should
be reported leave me alone people and stop harassing me
I am tired of the players herre trolling me.

Stop posting in this thread if you are not a CSR or affiliated
with the staff of this game.

This is the PUBLIC FORUM.

I never said it was harsh, but it seemed harsh to ME, and wanted to offer a reason for why I THINK the others responded as they did.

If the bug is heavy, it will be fixed, if not it will be left as it is. but it's the dev's that deside if the bug is heavy or not, so you normally REPORT a bug and don't say IT NEEDS TO BE FIXED.

This is the right place to post a bug report it is the "support" area stop telling
me otherwise.

I am going to start reporting people like Siela soon if this abuse doesn't stop
this is nothing more than harasement on the part of certain players.
