Addition of the Paypal payment option - OFFICIAL NEWS

Il est désormais possible d'acheter un ou plusieurs mois (1, 3 ou 12) de jeu à Ryzom via PayPal. Pour cela, ouvrez l'application http://app.ryzom.com/app_paypal/ et cliquez sur le bouton correspondant à la durée de jeu souhaitée.
Il est possible de cumuler plusieurs achats afin d'obtenir une durée de jeu personnalisée (2 fois 3 mois pour obtenir 6 mois par exemple).
Afin de répondre à une demande récurrente de la communauté de joueurs, cette application permet aussi à ceux le désirant de faire un don pour Ryzom via Paypal.

Aucune donnée sensible ne transite par cette application, la transaction est entièrement prise en charge par Paypal qui nous informe uniquement de son bon déroulement.
Cette application temporaire sera remplacée courant septembre par l'ajout de l'option de paiement Paypal sur la page de compte https://secure.ryzom.com/payment_profile/

A noter que, en raison des frais engendrés par Paypal, le prix du mois de jeu via cette option est plus élevé que via PaySpan :
1 mois : €8.95 /mois
3 mois : €8.50 /mois
1 an: €7.50 /mois

Je viens de tester, avec un compte inactif, ça affiche bien l'évènement dans /payment_profile/ , mais le statut reste inchangé, et je ne peux pas me connecter au jeu.

Ai-je loupé un truc ?

EDIT: Je rectifie, l'évènement est probablement dû au fait que j'ai dû cliqué sur le bouton Réinscription par curiosité, et annuler par la suite. Ca dû entrer un évènement... Du coup j'ai payé par paypal dans le vent ?

My sub ran out today aswell so tougth i'll try paypall aswell but i ended up in troubles aswell.

Paid paypal but nothing happend, waited some time but nothing happend (my paypal did charge my bank account tough) so in end i resubbed trough my visa just so I could play (so suboxide is I guess atm running on 2 subs but never got any mail or anything from the paypall thing i paid

hmmm.... been over 24 hours now and something's not right, will wait a little longer for changes to show up, but i've already been billed for it on paypal, and it says transaction's completed there. strange things showing up on my billing account information. used paypal for 2 months sub's on both accounts (mine and ros). pretty simple process to be honest, and i like that part, but there might be a delay we're not used to, so i'm giving it a little time. (just seams odd that WG's been paid, yet billing account doesn't show the added time.) below are screen shots of parts of the billing information pages for both accounts, showing what i'm seeing at this time. (it's my hope that in another day or two at most that this will change)

now if there are others that have similar looking things on their billing pages they can say that it looks similar to my accounts. and since none of the data in the screen shot's compromise my personal data i hope this will help both others with issues and the support team in dealing with them.

Well I only play a couple of hours a month, so a full subscription would be too expensive for me. The option to donate is an excellent idea and I have already donated e10 to keep the servers running.

Just a useful piece of info, if you have an old account you are planning to resub and it has not been played for many years, you can't use the paypal app, since your characters don't exist anymore. To test, just try logging into the forums, since it is the same authentication as the paypal app.

My alt account is now resubbed via VISA and awaiting support to restore the characters. Fingers crossed! :)

I put this here (and filed a support case at support@ryzom.com) so any other long absent players would understand and not get frustrated at the process.

logisch, wenn man wiederkommt, und das letzte mal vor dem merge online gewesen / gespielt hat, dann existiert gar kein Character mehr. auf dem acc.

weil diese PP Funktion ja im Moment (Vorerst) in den Webanwendungen, die via Charaktername nur betretbar sind.

ich denke das eine Einbindung via ACC derweil in arbeit ist ^^ diese PP Version über die Webanwendungen war wohl ehr eine not Lösung um es den Usern schnellstmöglich zugänglich zu machen ^^
