I am a professional snoop. I love to search everywhere and ask nosy questions. Maybe I can transform this misbehaviour in quality, and share all the spicy information I can find with you ?

For a long time, I have been wanting to go and ask various people around the game : creators, volunteers, players. Some of you have already been dealing with my questions. Others might be interested by their answers. I now plan to conduct interviews to publish them.

I like working in groups, because I know that I can not think alone about all the great ideas. And I do not know * everybody * worldwide. So I am asking the help of all of you, before starting this marathon, interviewing a lot of people about a lot of subjects.

Is there any people related to Ryzom you are interested in? This could be people working for Nevrax and Gameforge, or people who currently work for WinchGate. There are also all the volunteers, past and present. Finally, there are players. Yes, among the players too, there are "personalities", known or less known, which views and experience of the game deserve to be highlighted. Some people might be difficult to contact or will not accept to answer, but we can't know beforehand, so let's give a try !

Is there any questions you would like me to ask to these people? Dare any questions! I will sort and organize your questions and maybe I rewrite them, but will take interest in any suggestion There is so many to ask. This would also help me to know what kind of things you're interested. Do you want to know the favorite color of your prefered CSR or would you like to know which one plays some NPC character?

Share all your suggestion after here :)

Finally, for those who will be interviewed: I'm a nosy, but I also respect people's privacy. I ask intrusive questions, but you don't have to answer. Before publishing an interview, the interviewee will have the opportunity to read it again and even request for corrections (if needed). I would like to report as faithfully as possible the opinion of everyone, respecting his integrity.

About language interviews: I speak French and it is the only language which I'm really comfortable with, so I'll make my first interviews in that language. Anyway, I will find translators for the result to be accessible to everybody ! I will probably try also to do it in English, but I can't speak correct German, Russian or Spanish to be able to interview people in that language. But maybe you can ? I don't have to be the only one interviewing people! :) If you can translate my announce in other language, too, I am really happy.

If you are also interested to go interview people, contact me, to organize interviews (not to ask twice the same person and to sort out what we want to ask him)

Yes, I am interested.

I would like to know how many creators of the game there was when they were paid to make it, how they were organized, how many there were in the teams. How many from Nevrax are still here, are they playing? Are they paid to be here? Who are their toons names?

In thier opinions did the game go in the direction they wanted or expected it to go? If they had authority, what would they like to see implimented in the game? What do they feel is neccessary for it to be implemented and why should it be? Do they feel there is still somethings they wanted to see implemented that didn't get finished, or needs to be? What problems do they see that are still in the game?

Also, is Corvalis still involved with the game? If so, what is he doing? I have many more..

This idea of "I'm offended". Well I've got news for you. I'm offended by a lot of things too. Where do I send my list? Life is offensive. You know what I mean? Just get in touch with your outer adult. (Bill Hicks)

His vision seems amazing. All we can hope for are more volunteers to lighten the workload of the experienced higher powers enabling them to work on more game-advancing things.

I have a first contact with David Cohen Corval. I hope interview him next week. He was funder of game, and Artistic director. He left Ryzom when Nevrax was liquidated.

Have you got questions to him ? Do not hesitate, this is the time of any question (to know all secret of the game)!

My alt above is Nemana, so maybe some of those questions could be asked.

Also, what caused him to leave the game, or is he still involved? Does he ever log on a toon to play? What is its name?

What would he like to see implemented into the game at this point in time? Now that he has seen players master many, and all levels, what would he invent to keep them playing in the game? Would he do things differently now? What things does he feel could be put into the game to keep it alive and interesting for such players?

What would his feelings be about which direction Winchgate is taking the game in regards the Lore, missions, events, and the server merge? Would he agree with it all?

Was the so called 'Ryzom Bible' meant to be followed closely while he was in charge? How did he really want the game direction to go? Did it? Why were some game mechanics never implemented? Why were others implemented that seem useless? (like shielding protection, or that group health sharing thing, i forget the name of it atm. These are things never used to my knowledge).

Will he ever return again to help out, or invent new things? If not, why not? What projects is he working on now? Tell him some players would be elated to have him come back and contribute some help, even if in small amounts.

What does he think about Ryzom Forge and allowing players to create parts of the game now?

How would he change the game now Code-wise if at all? Would he rewrite the code in different language, and why?

...Hmm I'm sure i can think of more!

(get more contact information from him to interview others closely associated with the game to ask similar questions!)

Was he disappointed by the performance of the 2-d gaming engine?

I know from various sources (some of them even public) that he planned for an increased role of PvP in Ryzom. Did he have any plans for increased PvE content to match the PvP?

What is the active links window supposed to be for? (if it was one of his ideas)

Was he prepared for the coming competition during development. or did ie. WoW take him by surprise. Or to twist it around. Did wow stress the development to a point that bugs where inevitable? Wich caused instability in the game?
