OK, I think I have figured out how to deal with, for example, Under Spring, Wastelands, Lands of Umbra, etc.

1: In general, DO NOT STOP AND DO NOT BE A TOURIST!!!

2: Unless your level is extremely high, do not go there alone!

3: Do not fight anything you don't absolutely need to.

4: You are probably going to die a horrible death, so don't get too attached to your mount.

Would that be appropriate advice?

Just asking...

I am a Fyros. What more do I have to say other than that?

Don't forget that Lands of Umbra is a PvP zone, so Kitin, Vorax, Tyranchas etc are not the only things that can kill you - you also have to watch out for other players.

With the exception of the Kara TP in Abyss of Ichor,  all TPs are on cave walls so if you are collecting TPs in PR move along the walls - safer too.

It's bad luck to be superstitious . . .

Close.

Point #2 is a little variable depending on how good you are at doing #3 and accepting #4. My mortality rate in Prime Roots is not much lower now than it was over 200 levels ago. I've snuck through with straight-from-Silan alts, and snuffed it as a multi-Master.

In other words surviving PR depends less on level than on situational awareness, and even us Masters are safer travelling in numbers.

Do not assume that you speak for all just because you are the loudest voice; there are many who disagree that simply have no desire to waste words on you.

There are actually many 'safe paths' which you can learn over time. Once you know these getting around PR isnt so bad. At times the aggro is all over the place (just after season change) so be careful of that.

Being a low level is better to learn PR as obviously the environment is less forgiving and you can't run through mobs. This forces you to learn how to trek properly. Many mobs do eventually move out of the way so waiting for a little can be beneficial (but watch out for mobs moving into your way :P).

Generally once you have learnt the aggro distances of different mobs you can stick your radar on 50m and weave through the aggro (eg. Tyranchas are blind so if you are trying to fit between a tyrancha and vorax- be closer to the tyrancha).

Also make sure you have a KP macro :)
