Hiya bitty, jarnys answered it well but White Strong and Flexible and the Frosted Detail (Ultra)are the recommended materials for painting. Each one has its own characteristics, one of those is that frosted detail plastics are VERY expensive unless hollowed out. I personal haven't tried painting them but I have two old swords and a small spaceship. My only complaint with strong and flexible plastics is they always have plastic powder residue on them. While many use them for bracelets/earrrings/and many other things I'm still hesitant how I work with it.

Sandstone/Metails/Detail Plastics are my favorite materials for figurines but each one has its own limitations and expenses. On that note as far as I know no one has tried to manually paint a regular Sandstone figurine so I can't be sure of the outcome(my quick search didn't result in any good info).

Once I can get the normal (alphaless) textures I'll be able to fix that with many of the Figurines. With that in mind I will hopefully be able to fix it soon.

Hey everyone! Been working on a Karavan(Female) and Vorax figurine while I try to survive my Legal Schoolwork. Unfortunately though I'm unable to make a Full Color Sandstone figurine because the textures are faded beyond recognition. While I can't remake the Karavan or Vorax in all their glory I can make it resemble a statue!

I haven't posted in awhile so I thought I would update everyone.
Something I almost forgot to mention is I'm slowly working on getting homins available.

Doing a test run on a a new type of Figurine which are made to about the size of "Yubo(Small and Hollow)". This decrease in size brings the price to about the same of mentioned yubo but with a slight change to look. The look of the new ones are stockier and MUCH smaller but much more affordable. After the 6 figurines arrive that I'm doing a test run on this post will be updated with some photos so you can see them.

Should have 6 of the new "Mini Sandstone" Figurines by the first week of May. My only concern about these new smaller figurines is that the textures may not come out as well. But only time will tell now, thanks for dropping by and Happy Hunting/Browsing!

(P.S. If you are here checking on the status of the Karavan/Vorax Figurine both have Texture problems. Until I can find a fix the Karavan figurine will need alot of manual detailing. Here is a link to the Karavan(Female) : http://shpws.me/H3R3
The Vorax just needs to have teeth made and then it'll be "Ok" but far from desirable. Here is a link : http://shpws.me/F8NM

Lol, its a Lumper not a bawaab :). Unfortunately the bawaab textures are messed up so I don't know when I can have that one made. But the lumper figurine does lack that Je ne sais quoi without the beard or ridges on its back. One thing I noticed about these prints is the blacks kind of blotted out detail in those areas. But the Z corp printers used to make them do have issues with Skin Tones so that might be the only cause.

Welcome back ! love the 3D models of Yubos and Meks :) Have you thought about maybe some of the jewelry from Ryzom as well ?

Thanks for the welcome back! I have been looking into jewelry from ryzom but I haven't decided how to size it.I'm glad you like my designs and would like to hear any comments on them. Although I've been busy with all the things life throws at us and college schoolwork. I would like to hear any ideas you have!

One i would like to see is this ; one of a Yubo piddling on a poor homins foot. It happens a lot ,especially when wearing HQ LA for a meeting or event.
Another idea would be like a Shooki on a hilltop or stingas on a sand dune or beach etc .
