Stevano-Karan has opened the session with the traditional prayer to Jena.


The Houses present have then reported their current affairs.
Filira Zagh has retired from his position as Herën of the Alkian Order, so Filira Tapco has retaken the leadership of the Order. Marauders managed to take control over the Ginti Workshop, but the Order and his Karavanier allies managed to get back the Westgrove Stronghold and keep Berello. Finally Filira Tapco confirmed that Sage Sap got bach the Amber Cube as she was supposed to.
Filira Zakkk’s nurse talked for him, but couldn’t give news about the Firme.
Filira Salazar had no news either regarding the Order of the Argo Navis.
Serae Zendae mentionned that she was well and remained at the service of the Kingdom.
Finally ser Copal had no news either from the other members of the Gardiens du Savoir.


Moreover, Stevano-Karan informed the Nobles Chamber that he was looking for an appropriate spouse for Aniro-Karin so that he could accomplish his dynastic duties. He is studying the list of the possible candidates: they have to be matis and karavanier, noble and decidated to the Kingdom. He will pass the three of four names that he will chose to the Chamber for council.
The name of Filirae Aylia, Lady in Waiting of the KaraeKarae, was mentionned during the detabes. The Karan will check that she is on the candidates list.


The floor was then given to the ambassadors.
Ambassador Fleurdetuber from the Federation personally witnessed drills of unknown type but looking mostly marauder, and he was told that bandits were also using a new kind of weapons.
Since there have been no new assembly in Fairhaven since the last Nobles Chambers, Ambassador Nilstilar had nothing else to report.

The Rangers’ representative Zorroargh had no official news regarding the cover of the last guide Oprhie Dradius and prefered not to claim any date for her cover.
Serae Zendae, who is representing the Kingdom toward the Rangers, confirmed ser Zorroargh’s news about the next Ranger Guide, along the fact that Great Intendant Melga Folgore had reminded the Rangers that they weren’t a nation. She considers though that the Rangers are currently weakened.
Stevano-Karan aslo reminded ser Zorroargh that the Matis were awaiting results about the researches led on the black stinger found near Orphie Dradius, and were willing to help in the researches would the Rangers found themselves in a deadlock.

Finally Stevano-Karan recalled a few rules regarding ambassies. And first that every nation, or organisation in the case of the Rangers, was supposed to send only one representative at the Nobles Chamber, since it is not open to anyone.

Furthermore, regarding the Kingdom’s representative, he precised that it is self-evident that the Ambassador of the Kingdom attending an event in the nation toward which he was sent, is representing the Kingdom. But he can also to so in another nation in case the appointed Ambassador weren’t present. And in the absence of any Ambassador, any attending Noble can also express himself, but not take any commitment in the name of the Kingdom. Finally, if no Noble is attending, a vassal can take notes and comments but cannot speak for the Kingdom or commit to anything, only report what happened to the Nobles Chamber and the Karan.

Finally, Ser Copal has been appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom towards the Theocracy.

Since no other ambassador was attending, the rest of the Chamber was held behind closed doors.

Filira Markanjio has been appointed as second in command of the Alkian Order. Order that continues to preserve the Border Post of Berello Gorge.
Ser Jacol represented the Firm in the absence of Serae Shepeng. During her absences, Filira Zakarya continues to give advice, and Serae Liosta Be'Zephy presages the continuation.
Filira Salazar did not have any new information about the Order of the Argo Navis.
Ser Copal had no news about the other members of the Guardians of Knowledge either.
Finally Serae Nityaena introduced her house, House Giorandella of Avalae, which she leads, and which also includes her sister Umaena.


Answering a question from Serae Nityaena, Stevano-Karan recalled the rules governing ennoblement.
It is possible to be noble by birth, or to be ennobled as a reward for a particularly brilliant action for the glory of the Kingdom, or finally by occupying a position that grants nobility. It is then temporary. This is the case, for example, for the leaders of the Matisian and Karavanier Houses with at least five active members.


Stevano-Karan then gave the list of candidates that he has selected as possible spouses for Aniro-Karin. They are Filirae Aylia of House Alkiane, Filirae Nirni di Varello, Filirae Chiabre di Ciosi and Filirae Cini di Otravaldo. He invited the members of the Chamber of Nobles to meet them in order to form an opinion on the one they feel would be the most suitable as the future Karae.
The candidates will also have to show their craft skills by proposing a matisian skirt of the lightest possible weight, but with maximum protection, while incorporating green. Nobles and Vassals may assist the candidate of their choice.
Each of them will also be asked to write a poem with an open theme, but appropriate for a future Karae.


The floor was then given to the ambassadors.
Due to the lack of an assembly of the Circles, Ser Copal could not present himself to the leaders of the Witherings. However, he witnessed a hunt organized by a hunter of the Theocracy to eradicate gooified animals near the city of Jen-Laï. They had escaped from a camp. Several homins were blamed by the hunter, but the only one really apprehended managed to escape.
Answering a question from Stevano-Karan, Ser Copal was unable to say whether such events might occur in the Forest also.

Ser Nilstilar was unable to attend the last assembly in the Lakes, so Filira Salazar indicated that the Federation was planning to install an alarm system in Fairhaven.

Ser Nilstilar and Filira Salazar also attended the last Ranger assembly and met their new guide. He is a Tryker from the Old Lands and is called Barmie Dingle. Ser Nilstilar congratulated him on behalf of the Kingdom on his appointment.


The representative of the Rangers, Ser Zorroargh, was represented by Serae Dorothee. She offered the deepest respects from the new guide. The guide hopes that the collaboration with the Kingdom will remain successful. His main project is that the homins can return to the Old Lands. He is currently in training with Melga Folgore.
Finally, Serae Dorothee offered her personal thanks for the defense provided by the Matis vassals against the aggression she suffered from the Marauders.


The Federation ambassador, ser Fleurdetuber, did not provide any information or message from the Lakes, but wanted to know if his information was reliable about a maraudeur weapon he had heard the Kingdom had seized. Stevano-Karan did not comment on the rumors, but graciously advised the ambassador to assess the suitability of his informants himself.



Since no other ambassador was attending, the rest of the Chamber was held behind closed doors.

Filira Tapco, Herën of the Alkian Order, reported that the Order had unfortunately lost control of the last outpost still operated on behalf of the Karavan, the Psykopla Knoll, due to a lack of dedicated warriors. He also announced the return of Filirae Aylia to the Order, this was discussed in more detail behind closed doors.
Ser Homere paid the respects of the people of Davae, and wished the Royal Family good health, along with an amber cube as a gift for the Karan.
Filira Salazar had no new information regarding the Order of the Argo Navis.
Ser Copal also had no news of the other members of the Gardiens du Savoir.
Finally Ser Valdini introduced his House, Ore Altae, which trains servants of excellence to meet the demands of the greatest Houses.
Serae Belauren, with no House affiliation, also introduced herself.


The floor was then given to the ambassadors.
Ser Zorroargh announced that Ranger teams were working their way back to the Old Lands and that they would be happy to share what they found.

Ser Nilstilar reported on the Federation's installation of a flowery alarm system, i.e. installed in flower pots, although this feature did not seem to affect the effectiveness of the devices. He also attended a market in Fairhaven, which made him wonder about the future of the Avalae Market. Stevano-Karan therefore invited him to propose this subject to the Karae once the Karin's wedding is over.
Last Ser Copal was finally able to present himself to an Assembly of the Circles. The Assembly chose the Seraei Bigsbee and Ylanghao as ambassadors. The Sage Sap made wishes for the wedding of the Karin. The rest of the assembly consisted mainly of rather heated exchanges between the Theocracy's hunter and a lake guild about the involvement of one of its members in the goo-animals invasion near Jen-Lai. And in less heated but hardly more productive exchanges about how to deal with the goo tribes.
Possibly following the meeting, Sage Sap attempted an interview with the Antekami tribe. But this was not successful, as the Theocracy interpreted it as possible betray by the Sage Sap.

After having dismissed various homins who had come out of curiosity, Stevano-Karan opened the session with the traditional prayer to Jena.

The Chamber began with the ennoblement of Ser Copal and Serae Canillia, for their contribution as witnesses at the recent wedding of Karin Aniro and Karinae Nirni.
Serae Shepeng also proposed the ennoblement of Serae Liosta Be'Zephy as a reward for creating the minuet presented at the reception after the wedding ceremony. The Karan did not make a decision in the absence of Serae Be'Zephy, who was detained by the Karae, but will make its decision known at the next Nobles Chamber.
Still on the subject of noble affairs, the Karan refused to accept the resignation of Filira Salazar for having missed the Karin's wedding. He has nevertheless given him a new mission as Royal Historian: to write a book on the achievements of his reign, for the use of future generations, for their education and for the glory of the Kingdom.


In addition, the Karae will be gathering her Court soon***. The Karin's wife, Filirae Nirni di Varello, will also be present.


The Houses present have then reported their current affairs.
Filirae Canillia is acting as interim leader for Filira Tacpo, taking care of day-to-day business while the Alkian Order has gone dormant. However, she expressed her concern for Filirae Aylia, who has disappeared again.
Filira Salazar had no new information regarding the Order of the Argo Navis.
Serae Shepeng reported that La Firme has only herself and Serae Liosta as active members. The latter, however, is fully trained to provide effective assistance to the Kingdom.
Ser Copal is also the only active member of Les Gardiens du Savoir, although his activity is entirely devoted to the glory of the Kingdom and the Karan.
Ser Valdini has shared the progress of Ore Altae, with several Houses having called upon his services since the wedding.
Finally Ser Nilstilar is still without a House


The floor was then given to the ambassadors.
Ser Nilstilar and Filira Salazar reported on the last Taliari assembly, which was even more turbulent than usual. The gift offered by House Ore Altae, the services of a highly trained Tryker servant, was misinterpreted. Under the weight of history and prejudice, many participants in the assembly futilely warmed up to slavery theses. Filira Salazar tried to reassure the most reasonable minds by explaining the customs and habits of the Matis. He also assured the Governor of the Kingdom's respect for the Federation.

Filira Copal then made his report for the Theocracy, where nothing remarkable is happening that could have an impact on the Kingdom.

The beginning of the Chamber was once again disrupted by homins ignorant of protocol. The guard was therefore doubled.

Then Stevano-Karan opened the session with the traditional prayer to Jena.


He then gave news of the Royal Family.
The Karin Manalitch has finished his additional training. And Filirae Nirni di Varello, Karin Aniro’s spouse, is assisting the Karae in her daily duties.


The Houses present have then reported their current affairs.
In the absence of Serae She-Peng, Serae Liosta reported that la Firme was in semi-sleep, but continued to serve the Kingdom and its culture.
Filira Copal hasn’t heard from any of the other members of the Gardiens du Savoir and has therefore decided to attempt to raise his House on his own.
The Alkiane Order, through Ser Kessler, has not heard from Filirae Canillia lately but does not consider this absence to be a cause for concern. The rest of the Order has left to retrieve a precious parcel and Ser Kessler is waiting for their return.
Finally, neither of the two unaffiliated homins, Filira Zagabranth and Ser Nilstilar, had any news of importance to share.


The floor was then given to the ambassadors.
Ser Nilstilar reported on the latest events regarding Pebre di Ciosi. The latter was captured by Bai Trykali in the Lagoons of Loria, tried and found guilty of advocating slavery by the Federation . He will be deported to be handed over to Karan envoys at the border with the Kingdom at a date to be determined.

Filira Copal then gave his report of the last Circles Assembly. Most of the discussion was about a member of the Goo Heads tribe who went to wreak havoc in the Lakes. Sage Sap asked for increased surveillance of all the goo tribes. The Circles also replaced one of the two ambassadors who resigned. However, neither Serae Nikuya nor Serae Bigsbee will represent the Theocracy in the Kingdom.

Finally Ser Zorroargh spoke for the Rangers. He indicated that many rangers had left on various missions.


The last item on the agenda was the renewal of the High Council.
Councillor Kellen Codgan has been back in the Lakes in his home tribe for several years. Councillor Mephyros Xytis wished to be relieved of his duties due to his age. They will be replaced by Karin Aniro and Manalitch.
Furthermore, Stevano-Karan decided to bring in Filira Zagabranth to the High Council in anticipation of the future retirement of the Duke di Varello and to bring experience as a counterpoint to the energy of the Karini.

Serae Liosta is committed to continuing to keep La Firme active, until she achieves her mastery of Healing. She can then hope to bring the Firm back to life with newcomers.
Ser Kessler spoke on behalf of the Alkian Order, which continues to promote Matisse culture through the matéis lesson given by Ser Vauban. They are also studying the rare new specimens whose bones can be found just about everywhere.
Filira Copal has taken the lead of Les Gardiens du Savoir and hopes to be able to make a more active contribution in the field soon.
Ser Nilstilar spoke briefly about the unchanged situation of The Order of the Argo Navis. He also indicated that he personnaly remained in the service of the Karavan Alliance.
Finally, Serae Fryz introduced the House of Krom, which actively contributes to the security of the Kingdom, and her speech was rounded off by Ser Leytoo, her leader, who explained that this recent House is hosting fighters and craftsmen.


The floor was then given to the ambassadors.
Ser Nilstilar spoke briefly about the Water Road, a project conceived jointly by the Federation and the Empire, and which was the subject of further debate later in the Chamber.

Filira Copal reported on the hallucinations caused in a group of unprepared homins by a gas accidentally released by a member of the Goo Heads tribe. There seems to be no immediate danger to other homins, as the Theocracy has firmly forbidden the tribe from distributing these products, but surveillance seems essential to prevent the gas from being used as a weapon in the near future.

In the prolonged absence of Serae Zendae, and in the absence of a candidate, Ser Nilstilar has been appointed acting ambassador to the Rangers.
Ser Zorroargh, a long-standing observer of the Rangers, is handing over his role to Serae Lylanea. She spoke briefly about the Black Sting found with the late Guide Orphie Dradius, and mentioned that the contamination observed on it was much more aggressive and corrosive than goo. She fears major damage if this contamination spreads, although no trace of it has been found. Serae Lylanea promised to forward any new information, would the Rangers discover any on this topic.


Finally, the subject of the Water Road, which some people seem to want to pass through the Kingdom, was discussed at length. No official request has been received in the Kingdom, but Aniro-Karin expects a Ranger embassy to address the topic soon, so he consulted the Chamber in advance.

La Chambre des Nobles du Sommet Verdoyant s’est réunie au Palais Royal d’Yrkanis le 15h - Dua, Winderly 20, 4th AC 2625*, sous la direction de Sa Majesté Stevano-Karan.


Étaient présents :

Le début de la Chambre a été retardé par des homins ignorants du protocole et qui n’avaient rien à faire à cette assemblée.

Puis Stevano-Karan a ouvert la session par la traditionnelle prière à Jena.


Il a ensuite donné des nouvelles de la Famille Royale.
La Karae et la Karaedin préparent la prochaine Cour de la Karae.
Le Karin Aniro se consacre à ses devoirs. Principalement le Haut Conseil.
Le Karin Manalitch suit l'exemple de son frère au Haut Conseil.


Les Maisons présentes ont ensuite partagé leur actualité.
Filirae Canillia a indiqué que son Selsim et elle-même étaient les seuls représentants réguliers de l’Ordre Alkiane.
Filira Salazar et Filira Copal sont également seuls représentants de leurs Maisons, respectivement l’Order of the Argo Navis et les Gardiens du Savoir.
Serae Liosta, bien que la Firme soit elle aussi fort calme, a atteint la maîtrise du soin et va se lancer dans un renforcement des artisans de sa Maison. En parallèle, elle met toute son énergie dans l'aide à la Karae et à la Karaedin.
Ser Valdini a fait état de quelques déboires commerciaux, sans gravité mais qui accaparent néanmoins le temps et l’énergie de sa Maison.
Enfin serae Liosta a partagé les excuses de la Maison Cara Via, qui ne pouvait envoyer de représentant à la Chambre.


La parole a ensuite été donnée aux ambassadeurs.
Serae Yokao Zhuangi s’est présentée en tant que nouvelle ambassadrice du Pays Malade. Elle n’a pas signalé d’événement d’importance dans la Théocratie susceptible d’intéresser le Royaume, si ce n’est l’explosion du cube d’ambre contenant un morceau du dard trouvé auprès de l’ancienne Guide Ranger Orphie Dradius. Le morceau de dard semble avoir été détruit dans l’explosion.
Filira Copal a confirmé le rapport de l’ambassadrice, et a précisé que l’Assemblée de Cercles n’avait compté que peu d’Initiés et Éveillés. Au sujet du dard, il demandera les résultats de l’analyse que la Jardinière Dynastique doit faire des fragments prélevés sur le lieu de l’explosion.

Ser Nilstilar était absent et n’a pu faire de rapport sur l’activité dans les Lacs.

Stevano-Karan a rappelé que tout noble ou ambassadeur présent lors d’une assemblée pouvait représenter le Royaume en cas de besoin.

Aucun autre ambassadeur n’étant présent, le sujet suivant était la Route de l’Eau.
Filira Copal a fait son rapport sur le relatif bon déroulement de celle-ci puisque aucun débordement n’a été à déplorer durant la traversée du Royaume. Néanmoins les Trykers semblent vexés par les manières des Fyros, que ce soit lors des négociations pour la définition du trajet ou pour le versement des contreparties attendues.


Le reste de la séance s’est tenu à huis-clos.
