Binarabi picks up her Igara quill pen, dips it in Stinga juice and in fine green ink writes a thoughtful letter to her Auntie

Lordoy Ny-Auntie Birra

So much has happened since I last wrote - but perhaps this letter will bring you the most joy, or sorrow, I do not know ...

You may remember Ny-Astarth - a very kind Zorian, so tall and noble, I realise you have never trusted Zorians since they tried to make slaves of us all and my mother Mac'Doughan Cerveja would not have "Zora" mentioned in her guild, but truely he is thoughtful and helpful to all homins, regardless of race. It was because of Astarth and his secret teachings within my guild, Guardian of Shadows, that we changed after the last Great Swarming from Guardians of Jena, to become Guardians of Shadows and moved to the Zorian Lands, where we hoped we would meet with homins who belonged to a secret Guild - the Guild of Elias Tryton

There!

Now I have said it!

Our guild has had sympathies with this Trytonism for a long time and we have remained hidden until this day, hardly mentioning our sympathies outside our guild walls, but now we are announcing our loyalty - we are leaving the alliance of the false god Ma'Duk, we are giving our outposts to the races that they belong to and from now on we will pledge our support to the protection of outposts in the lands that they belong to.

I know you will be fearful of our safety but recently there appeared, in a Tryker meeting, two homins, one had the title "Researcher of Elias" and they spoke of a Trytonist system of transport ... perhaps the "magic key" that Astarth has spoken of. We discussed this in our guild hall and decided we would let all homins know what we are and help any homin who wants to leave the lies of Jena and Ma'Duk. We will call a meeting where we can answer questions ... its location will be difficult, it might be in Prime Roots

As always we will continue to help refugees find their path on Atyss and continue to give a safe haven to those homins who were left behind in the Great Swarming, marauders, so long as they pledge their respect to the Tryker Federation and lay down their arms.  On occasions when they freely choose to sell their sword to a guild we will accept this and we know they will support Shadows when the guild, as a whole, march to protect homins in their own lands

Do not worry about my uncles, they appear sometimes at the bar in Fairhaven - so they have settled down to live in the Lakes.
I hear your leg healed - which is just as well, peg-legs do fall off sometimes and a homin called Rollocks has a "soft" spot for Trykerettes with peg legs ... you would maybe like him ... rough and ready Fyros?

Seelagan, Ny-Auntie Birra and may all your kills be kitin - power to your needle and your recipes for armours

Bina

Binarabli carefully rolls her letter and pushes it into the claws of one of her Izam birds and throws the bird into the air on the steps of the guild hall

This idea of "I'm offended". Well I've got news for you. I'm offended by a lot of things too. Where do I send my list? Life is offensive. You know what I mean? Just get in touch with your outer adult. (Bill Hicks)

Dear Binarabi:

First i don't know if i deserve such credit, i believe we have all come to the realization of this truths as a guild, as the knowledge of Elias is still clouded by rumours and hearsay from others, so my "teachings" may have not been more than what your own intelligence and knowledge could've found.

I am happy that we have finally decided to shed light into our shadows, we've never been made for the shackles of fear and secrecy.

I know many will ask "what about those marauders in your clan?", well they're coming with us, they have earned their place among us and proven their loyalty, they have choosen a form of freedom, and while we still struggle with them to make them understand that the future of homins lie in the unity of all nations, we will respect their right to decide their own fate while at the same time consider them as brothers and sisters.

Our allegiance is to all hominkind, but our home, as all homins, including marauders and rangers have , is in Aeden Aequos, Our history as a clan has always been linked to this lands and to them we hold a special place. So yes, in a way we do encourage some of our guild nretheren to join the trykeroth if they so choose.

I hope more of those who follow the teachings of Elias Tryton overcome the fear of punishment and we can finally start this journey towards freedom

Freedom!
