Ryzom website will get a new look soon

The Ryzom Team is pleased to announce a new version the official website !

Ryzom visitors deserved a better showcase. We thought that the old website, out of date and out of fashion, was no longer an appropriate one. That's why, a few months ago, we decided to completly modernize it, both in form and content. You will soon be able to view the new website in its 1.0 version, which will quickly evolve when you give us feedback. In the future we plan to enrich it with more text and content.

Prime position for the Lore

We wanted the occasion of this renovation to return the Lore to a prime position. In our minds, every new player ought to be able to picture what Ryzom and its world are. Therefore we decided to start from a main page that pointed to the important website sections (Community, Universe, Roleplay...). Then we improved each of these sections. The universe area, for exemple, gradually reveals the mysteries of Atys through several sections (geography, inhabitants, factions, history...)

A product of collaboration

All the Ryzom teams worked together to bring you this new website. Animation and support worked on the content. Translators translated it and identified the remaining errors (for which we want to thank them, as the website is now available in english, french, german and spanish).

Ryzom being a community centered game, we have decided to allow you to submit articles to be published on the website (subject to our approval). Please feel free to take out your (virtual) pens and write. Furthermore, we count on you to give us feedback and advice !

New game manual

A player recently began the immense work of writing a new game manual and we warmly thank him for this.
The first version is being validated, it will be translated and published on the website as soon as possible.

Other games - they give you a cookie whether you succeed or not, in fact you don't even have to participate. Ryzom takes your cookie, eats it in front of you, and slaps you 2 or 3 times for bringing a cookie in the first place.
