Misugi, may I suggest that you write to the CSRs and see if you can get this event put on the official calendar?  They have been puting Player Events on there. 

Thinks: That's very close to 7 years since my first toon arrived in Silan.  My how the time flies.

As far as i remember they opened the servers during late september to make sure they won't crash too frequently. And official launch (when they put the boxes into the shelves of stores) was in the beginning of october. Having the celebration in early october makes sense to me.

My account start date is september 2004, set up when I subscribed after installing from a retail box. I remember the whole launch time well because they messed up the UK launch and I had to order my copy from Germany in time for launch.

Pre-order, I had the shiny arm-shield till WG took it away.

This version* of the account was set up on 24th september, which would have been the day I installed it and logged onto the server.

Interestingly, I've just looked at the box sat on my shelf; the 'sub-title' under Saga of Ryzom is "1. Atys". Allusion to the other worlds obviously....




* as opposed to the beta-test version. ;o)
