Oren pyr General,

As requested by the allied Zoraï Theocracy to the Imperial Court and cooperatively answered by the sharükos and the Imperial Senate, my contingent and I have traveled to Zora, the capital of the Witherings, as Anti-Kitin Reinforcement Guards.

Following your orders to cooperate with the Guard of the Theocracy, we joined our forces.
Fyros, as well as Zoraï, Anti-Kitin Reinforcement troops are now defending all entrances of the Zoraï capital and are patrolling the city.

I ordered my company to keep up extreme vigilance and they carry out their duties with utmost accuracy and motivation. I explained to them that since the great kitin assaults at Yrkanis and Pyr some weeks ago, the Zoraï Theocracy has founded concerns that Zora might be the next target of a major kitin assault during the following weeks.

The Sages of the Zoraï Theocracy informed me that brave fighters among the homin population could be rewarded with a title if they deliver special kitin material to the Kitin Observer.

I've heard that Patriots of the Empire were working diligently to offer numerous burning weapons to Initiates of the Theocracy in exchange for electric ones. I don't know yet if the convoy will be organized soon, maybe you'll have an answer from the akenak assembly before my next report.

General, a few minutes ago the Sages of the Zoraï Theocracy informed me that due to some kami evidence (which the Sages did not further explain to me) they expect "very aggressive kitin activity" before the end of Mystia (*).

Ma-Duk shall be with us! The kitins may attack any time, the Anti-Kitin Reinforcement Guards will stand their ground.

The Honorable Ailan MacKean, Governor of New Trykoth, bids me to pen these letters:

It appears likely, given the recent disturbing activities of Kitins in the Verdant Heights and Burning Desert, that a Kitin threat to Fairhaven, our beloved capital, is likely in the near future. With the defenses of Fairhaven seen as vulnerable, it was decided at the last Taliari Assembly that additional towers should be built to help defend the city in the event of attack.

The Federation Architect, Ba'Darpsey Coffen, after some study of possible designs and evaluation of materials costs, has announced that materials need to be extracted and turned in as soon as possible. For each tower the following will be needed: 10,000 bundles of wood, 6,000 measures of oil and 2,000 phials of sap, all of choice grade and of quality in the highest levels. The materials need to be from Aeden Aqueous or from the Prime Roots for reasons of compatibility*. Workers have been assigned to stand near the gates of Fairhaven to collect the materials as they are extracted.

It was also noted that towers of this strength are not raised in a day. In fact it will take most of a season to construct a tower once the materials for it have been collected**. Each time sufficient materials are collected construction will begin at once on another tower. The more towers that are erected, the better fortified our capital will be.

Annoucement for the Fyros patriot :

Since we are helping the Zorai to renforce their guards at Zora, we will need to give some weapons. We will need 25 burning retch (long axe special plan), 25 burning stavon (long sword special plan) and 50 burning brazer (launcher special plan), at least quality 200.
We will bring the weapon the Holeth, Frutor 6, 3rd AC 2574 [OOC : tuesday 27 august at 9PM paris time] from Pyr. We will need 5 mektoub (and their guide), and every homin willing to help for the trek.
For the weapon, we have gathered everything, thanks to the contributor !

A note scrawled on a scrap of bark is attached to one of the postings in Fairhaven.

I note that MacBaxy Coffen has in stock almost enough materials for THREE towers. Why have the materials not been given to the workers yet? It is critical that the towers be built at once!

I am going to Loria to dig more oil, but I think the supervisor needs to be prodded with a pike!

[The following note, carefully penned, has been pasted over the scribbles on the bark, and copies are appended to each of the announcements from Ailan MacKean as well.]

An open letter to the Honorable Ailan MacKean, Governor of New Trykoth, Greetings from Mac'Od Bittty, resident of Fairhaven.

I note with some concern that Mac'Baxy Coffen, Materials Collector for the Defense Towers, has in his stockpiles more than enough materials for THREE defense towers. However, I see no evidence that the towers are actually being built. There are no withdrawals of material from the stockpiles, no building sites, no sign of activity whatsoever.

Given the length of time that each tower will take to construct and the urgency with which all loyal Trykers (and our friends) were urged to prospect and harvest, and the uncertainty about the Kitin threat, I find this lack of response on the part of the workers and engineers to be very disturbing.

I urge you to consider this matter as one of the utmost importance!
