In the coming weeks and months, you will have the chance to play a role in the story that will take place in the Forest Kingdom. An event like the Second Great Swarming is life changing and has major consequences. That is why you will discover what happened during the 8-year exodus, as well as the consequences it had on the life of the characters you have known for years. Without forgetting the events it has brought into motion as we speak.

The sequence will be told in Chronicles together with closely linked in-game events. These two mediums will offer you many possibilities. You are invited explore these as much as you like.

Episode 01: A Sunny Spring

The dawn was breaking on Yrkanis and the first rays of light flooded the new apartment, the walls still smelled of fresh bark.

An old homin walked into the room and ran his fingers over the cover of a large book laying on a desk. He sat down, looked at the thick journal, and started smiling, remembering the events he wrote about in his chronicles. Slowly turning the pages and arriving at a blank page, he took his pen and began to write...
We are now in 2571... Time does really flies. I have seen and thought many things. It has been more than eight years since we were forced to leave everything behind us. Had I ever imagined that one day I would stand here to complete this task I have been assigned? No, I would not have bet my life on it. The trials we go through sometimes make our lives take unexpected turns.

He frowned and winced as he was reminiscing, but eventually smiled fondly.

During the Exodus, I have seen a great many things, and now I am very hopeful. We all witness the consequences of our actions, for worse... or best. We never now what the future holds in store for us. Somephing pleasant? The Karan will soon returns to the Capital. I hope he will be happy with what we have prepared for him. Provided that Kel does not overdo things, as he likes to do....

The homin carefully placed his pen in its holder and stood up. He would continue to write more later. Fondling his beard he peered out of the windows, watching the city from his new home.

"Well, I'm now facing one of the biggest challenges of my life."

Exodus Memories 01: Departure on Arrival

Mephyros Xytis was walking back and forth through the refugee camp. The desert had never been the same since Dexton died. And now the kitins appeared and realised every homin worst fear.

If only that! Mephyros had almost lost everything. He had only a few belonging left in his hands. Letters from his parents, dappers... He had also taken every weapon he ever possessed, namely a dagger, a pistol and a rifle. He had never had a lot of those, since he pretty much hated all about fighting.

He devoted his whole life to serve and defend his Sharük... to feel so empty.

"Mephyros Xytis! I see you survived!"

The elder Celiakos turned and crossed Graphybus Ceros. Not him!

"Graphybus Ceros..."
"Alone as always! Isn't Xinna Cekaps there?"
"She's not, she followed her brother. What about you, I can see your good humor never fails."
"You should embrace the bright side of life. We will be back and build an empire even better !"
"..."
"Ah, I see an old acquaintance over there. Delighted, Mephyros!"
"..."

Mephyros' thoughts turned decidedly black. He began to understand that he couldn't stand the presence of his fellow citizens, and entertained the idea of trying his luck alone, away from all of them.

The following days, he took his decision: he bought food and ammunition, swapped his celiakos outfit for a Fyros blue light armor and a black cloak to show the grief caused by all what he lost and held so dearly.

He was now standing at the door's camp.

"Time to go."

Episode 2: Arrival Preparations

"General! General! A message for you!"

Elran Antolli turned around and found himself facing a young recruit. A very young soldier, who had spent most of his youth far from his people's land, thought Elran Antolli. He could not help but smile at the enthusiasm shown by the young homin standing at attention in front of his General.

"At ease, Soldier. Speak."
"Nini Cizzo has given me the order to tell you that the preparations for the arrival of the Karan are almost complete, Sir."
"Good. Let's not delay any longer. Everything must be perfect, and today even more than before. Fall out!"
"Sir, yes, Sir!"

Elran Antolli raised his head to gaze at the crown of the trees above him. He smiled. To him, Yrkanis would always be one of the most magnificient cities of Atys, the true capital of the Kingdom. And nothing nor anyone would ever change that again.

He had been the Matis Warmaster for a few months now, succeeding Mezza Triva. He thought about the many things that had changed since the Second Exodus. Would it be for the best... or the worst?
He could not help but consider the best. The future had not seemed so promising for a long time.

"Either way, some will be surprised by what they will discover," muttered Elran Antolli while smiling.
