Sometimes An Error code 4 was generated when the udate was not complete, so it might be a good idea to try a reinstall (save the Save directory first) and try again.

? By copying to some other place.

It's located inside the ryzom install directory and it's called "save". The location of the install directory itself depends on you operating system and the way you installed the game.
