The occupation 20h timer for crafting and 2 days timer for the item is being reset when reconnecting, allowing anyone to repeat the occupation and get more items.

Probably related to the negative server tick.

yeah, known and reported to support. Not a totally bright idea to publish it ;)

I disagree. If there is an exploit like this, only fair thing to do is let everyone know about it.

#4 Report | Quote[en]

there is an anti-exploit measure at the end of the craft that will catch everyone who try to do it.... so, be warned before you try

So they can exploit it too? IMO, it's better to keep it a secret (but punish its use after a warning) until it's fixed.

well, you won't get the toothpaste back into the tube ;)

Its only an exploit if a few people know about it. Gives them the upper hand.

Problem is this:
I Waited 20 hours Every time i did craft again and i got a message that i was exploiting etc 2 times now please don't ban me If i did something wrong it was an accident :O

I experienced similar problems, yesterday. Only, one of the messages might have been founded, and one wrong, so the check seems to be irreliable. Below the text of my trouble ticket:
Today I was accused by an automatic text to exploit bugs in the professions system. Surprised and embarrassed, I checked hat I might have done. I know that there is a bug in that system allowing exploits, I reported that bug months before. While I would not assert that I never took any advantage out of it, I never used it systematically, and today, I clearly did not do anything which had to do with that bug or exploit.

Yet, giving the affair a second thought, I recognized that I might have used water carrier profession earlier than after 20 hrs. As I was disconnected forcibly by a client dc caused by my DSL I was unaware thereof. The menacing and accusing text of the message gave me a not so warm welcome, and I consider it somewhat counterproductive.

In case users have to check by themselves not to underflow the 20hrs deadline, please inform about publicly, and give a somewhat more friendly warning.

Indeed, I see a failure of customer service, here, which should not be customer intimidation. People not aware of the technical circumstances may be driven away from professions, or even the game proper.

Why is there no public announcement that due to a technical problem, occupational crafting may be done more often than once a day under certain circumstances, and users are politely asked not to abuse that weakness to get more products. The CSR could announce further that occupation yield will be monitored on the server, and abusers will be punished. That would be clear and inoffensive to any innocent user.

The text will be modified to something a little less extreme :)

Don't worry; If you miss the 20h timer by a few minutes that will not be held against you.
