I recently graduated to the mainland as fyros, but my friend is zoraii. If I want to do to things,
1) go back to silan
2) go to the zoraii capital
How do I go about doing this?

Also how do I join a guild?

Please help guys, ill ask on universe chat as well

You can join a guild by wither creating one on your own (needs some dappers) or joining an existing. I suppose you want to know about the later so you should just go around and see what people you think fit your style and after finding some you think are ok ask them what you have to do to join their guild - you can also look through the guild peresentations in the guild forum and read the descriptions there to find an apropriae guild - the posts always contain some kind of way to contact the guild (even if it's just the name of the person posting)

There is a button on you map that works now that you are on the mainland that did not on Silan. The left pointing arrow will take you from continent view to world view and show you all the connections between the different lands.

You can use that map to plot a route from where you are to where you want to be. Know that most routes are dangerous and the Roots are very dangerous and that goes double for a refugee from just from Silan. Having said that, it is possible to sneak from the Witherings (Jungle/Zoraï) to the Burning Desert (Desert/Fyros) to the Verdant Heights (Forest/Matis) with a little patience and luck. Getting into Aeden Aqueous (Lakes/Tryker) via sneaking is much like traveling the Roots.

Another option is to get help trekking from place to place. Remember that this takes time and listen to whomever is leading the trek. A homin that does not follow directions when trekking can cause the whole group to die.
In simple terms, as to join one. :) Read about the various guilds in the Guild Registry and pick one that suits you. Example: Guardians of Zora is a Kami and Zoraï aligned RP, PvP, PvE guild. Neutral characters can join any guild but aligned characters can only join guilds that match their alignment. In the Guardians case, that means that a Matis Citizen (don't remember the title for that) could not join the guild unless they renounced their Matis citizenship because it is a Zoraï aligned guild but a neutral Matis could join with no problem. The same is true of the Kami/Karavan alignments. Kami Disciples can join Kami or Neutral guilds (anyone can join Neutral guilds if I remember correctly) but not Karavan guilds. I did not remember correctly. Neutrals may join any guild but if you are aligned, you may only join a guild that matches your alignment.

In summary, things to consider when choosing a guild:
Does the guild do the kind of things you want to do?
Do you like the homins in the guild?
Does the guild's alignments meet with the alignments you want?

Do a little research before asking to join a guild and you'll have a much better experience than if you just ask the first homin with a guild badge to give you an invite.

Also, Can anyone tell me how to upgrade hp and get money, because I am trying to kill kipees in the desert and always end up getting triple teamed and killed. I need to get some better armour than q45 ranger stuff.

Anyone can get a guild invite, even those on Silan. Those on Silan cannot, however, create guilds. Frequently the guilded people on Silan are simply alts used to help new players.

The fight trainers are considered the best route for upgrading HP. You want to buy the red tear drops to increase HP (Constitution) and HP regeneration (Metabolism). As for earning more dapper, quarter and sell what you kill. You can usually find reasonably priced gear at the merchants or barter with a crafter.[/quote]
I recommend reading the Game Lore on both factions but here's a quick overview:

The Kami are nature spirits that seek to guide homins to care for Atys (the planet) and to become Kamis themselves. They follow the great spirit Ma-Duk.

The Karavan are from another world and clearly technologically advanced. The seek to teach and train homins in preparation for leaving Atys for another world. They follow the Goddess Jena.

Custodius, here is a link to the guild list from the old forum, each thread gives a brief description of the guild and its faction. You may have to change the display settings to "The Beginning" as some of the posts are very old and probably wont display for you, unless you do that.

As far as the game is concerned, there is no level requirement but guilds may have their own requirements. Most do not.

It is btw not possible to return to Silan, because Silan only contains a small subset of the Mainlands resources. Players would be able to bring for example Choice, Excellent or Supreme materials and destroy the system, not to mention one hitting everything that moves, new players included.

Btw, Aligned players (whether Civ or Faction) may not join Neutral-aligned guilds. Only neutrals may join neutral guilds.
