I really like the feature to show only selected forums and since I neither understand Russian nor Spanish I decided to hide those sub forums (including those for the announcements)

It's working fine and they don't show up as unread (important)
But I still see the Russian and Spanish Announcements as this big, irritating red number.

I'd appreciate it if you'd either
- hide the announcements corresponding to hidden forums
- make it possible to hide up to 2 out of the 3 (in reality 4 out of 5) as an extra option
- mark the announcements in the other languages as read after reading one of them
I personally think the last option would be the best one but also the one hardest to realize
