New to the game here, but I've played quite a few MMOs over the years. I don't know why this game isn't a bigger deal. I'm having a blast with it.

It may be an older game, but good sandbox MMOs are very rare. Definitely subscribe and find your "path" on Atys.

I don't regret my subscription with Ryzom at all! I do however, regret some other MMO decisions I have made in the past.

You need to talk to ciang the strong, the guy you started at on the little hill
Talk with him and choose quest go to mainland or leave silan or something then he will send you off to kara/kami where you can decide wich land you go to. (been years since i last did it so some things might be a bit off)

You're pretty close, Suboxide. I've run an alt through Silan recently. The quest is Leave for Mainland. Chiang the Strong sends you to each of the trainers / representatives of the races, then to Kami or Kara who teleport you (after asking many times if you're sure).

It is Chiang the Strongs last mission. You only need to talk to the 4 people if you've forgone doing all of his missions. Good luck and welcome aboard.
