I am sure this has been mentioned numerous times, however here is my suggestion:

- The ability to be able to group a selection of items (i.e. Jewls or armour) so that you can mix your sets and also so you have the ability to equip gear quicker/less painful.

Think the iphone OS where you can group apps by dragging on top of the other and then you can name that folder.

This would be the greatest GUI feature added in a long time.

Would be awesome and, indeed, a much awaited feature.

Each equip action takes time, equiping for example a whole set of jewelry should take a considerable amount of time. While the idea itself is very handy, I think it collides with the current system.

It would make sense to me, to instant equip the prepared set / weapon / whatever, it's unrealistic however. Ryzoms approach to this is time for the equip action. But waiting half a minute to equip a new jewelry set beats the purpose of the grouped items idea imho?

If we were to keep it real, we could just have a time delay for equipping the "grouped" items. It is more to keep sets together that would help. for example you could have the following jewl sets:

- PvP set
- boosted focus set
- focus with boosted HP
- HP grind jewls (with different variances - Fire set, poison set, etc... dependant on the mobs you are hunting)

This is a must addition to the game.

hm. i don't care how long it takes.
If I equip/change weapon I wait.
If I use a pact I wait.
If I equip a jewelry-set I can wait too. I do not need it instantly.

It is just a real PAIN to drag each single piece (between 16 to 18 pieces) from one place (ie. Mektoub) to my bag , equip each single piece and drag each single unequiped piece back to assigned Mektoub to not confuse them next time. This makes from 48 to 54 moved pieces in one go.

And this each and every time I change what I do. I wear different coloured armour and sets of different jewels and they may not be the same Level either. There is just no way to keep them together but to put them on different Mektoubs. So I restrict myself to three armour/jewel sets to cling to sanity and eyesight a little longer (one set per Mektoub)

Totally agree ;-)

So it takes a while to equip a full set of jools. Perhaps instead of taking 10n sec to equip the while set, still have it take n sec for each piece but just automatically queue the pieces. So the process can be interrupted at any time and all pieces that have already been equipped are still equipped.
(does that make sense?)

Like i said previously, I don't care how they implement the time delays. I just want to be able to group my equipment (i.e. armour and jewls). People have been asking for this for a very long time, is it possible to implement?

#9 [en]

It would be good to know if the current engine will allow for this to happen. If not you could always create bags within bags :)

BUMP...I saw a very similar thread about creating bags within bags... this resolves that idea. We have been calling for this for ages, please could one of the devs tell us once and for all if it is possible. It is a fundamental change that all other MMOs have.

On the matter of time delays on equipping:

Even with the current system it takes less than 10x time to equip a full jewel set if you're fast about it. The timer restarts with each new jewel (or armor piece) so if you can click fast you can get armored/bejeweled faster than n x the individual equip time.

As I see it, this is a request for ease of use for those of us who have "digging sets" and "hunting sets" of armor+jewels. It's not looking for an ability to equip them *quickly* just to equip them *conveniently*.

The fact that it hasn't been implemented in more than four years of asking (that I am aware of) may mean that there is a problem of implementation, but it would be nice to know for sure.

Has anyone in the dev forum looked it before? I struggled to find much that people had created in the dev forum. Not many posts recently either.

That's false.
