. . .I would *not* agree that equipping with one click is a good idea. It's attractive to those of us who are lazy, but in my opinion it is a bad idea since it removes a small bit of "realism" from the game..

I find it unrealistic enough as it is with the ability to change clothes whilst running. Not something I would recommend IRL.

It's bad luck to be superstitious . . .

I'd prefer the ability to make "sets" so I could change from mage gear to dig gear w/o 120 clicks (...)

Absolutely +1: experimented this in other games and it's very useful (they call them "outfits").

Additional suggestion: dress/undress clothes/armors/sets directly from the mount/packer or home's container, if in range to take them, without passing to the inventory.

Now: mount/packer/home -> inventory -> equipped -> inventory -> mount/packer/home
Suggested: mount/packer/home <--> equipped

Summarizing:
- you should rightclick "equip" on the items/sets into the mount/packer or at home
- the Equip section should include mount/packer/home's clothes which 're not greyed out (AKA in range)
- equippable items can be grouped into Sets also and, rightclicking it, will be worn all together
- Sets which includes greyed-out items should be equippable limiting to the not grayed-out items only
- things which are substituting others goes in the place where the substituting ones come from (inventory, packer, mount or home)
- things which 're unequipped but not substituting others will go:
-- into the inventory if unequipping single items
-- where the Set item is, when group-unequipping

To add a little bit of realism I suggest that, not flagging the "enable equipment sets" into game's config, will force to (1) change equip when sit down only, (2) undress each item to the inventory before being able to wear the related one (AKA disable the ability to "change" items).

P.S.
I don't currently have a home, so I can be wrong in that suggestion's section.
