I brought a visa prepaid cerdit card to pay for a month with my old account but I can't get to it to work. It says the transaction is refused each time. VISA is worldwide and all... Help anyone?

To see why the payment is refused, please contact Visa (the ones who refused the payment) directly. We simply don't have access to that information, nor do we have a way to get it for you for to privacy reasons.

Could it be because the card wont accept monthly charge since its prepaid? If that's the problem is there another way to pay? A way that wont charge you money every month?

Aren't there 2 ways to pay for the game paybycash and bibit, i once switched to paybycash for a month to see what options you had there hoping on paypal, didn't have luck finding paypal there but there where lots of options there. Maybe trough one of the options you can use the prepaid visa card (i also remeber i couldn't even pick montly subscription in paybycash with a visa only way was to pay every month again manual)

Yes, all PayByCash subscriptions are non-recurring by design.

I had the same thing with a Pre-Paid MasterCard. Bibit dislikes the Pre-Paid cards as they can be purchased by anyone and there is no real name on it. They need to verfy that it's not a stolen card and the only way to do that if your info matches up. Even with normal card when my registration had a different name as my card name i was refused than i changed it to the same as on card and then it worked.

I also use a pre-paid MASTER card for my shoppings on net.So far only your system refused me. And i have 3 paid accounts that i pay monthly.But since bibit refuses my card, i have to use Bank transfer option, which costs me 14 euros for a month per account... (paybycash is only 8 euros)..And when my monthly subscription ends , i have to wait like 5-10 days to be reopened.....(Just letting u know to not be so suprised when ppl leaves the game lol, its suprising to not have options like paypal and such..)

I have heard from other players that Bibit will accept Wirecard prepaid Mastercards (http://www.mywirecard.com/en/mastercard.html). Wirecard is a German bank, but I've not used the service myself, so anyone thinking of using them should do their own research and check the reviews first; however, it's an option for those who want to use prepaid debit cards. There's also a visa card available, at the top navigation bar, though I don't know if that one works with Ryzom or not.

I'd be more optimistic about these cards working with Bibit because they can support recurring payments, unlike a lot of prepaid cards. PayByCash may have more stringent identity and security rules, preventing the use of all prepaids.



I do understand the difficulty that WG face in deciding which payment methods to support... there are a tonne. In the NL, for example, the only viable options for people without CCs are bank transfer (expensive) or iDeal (good system but which only exists in the NL, so it's pretty niche). Perhaps bank transfers could be made viable and less pricey by PayPal support, though I do know that PayPal's commission charges can be rather excessive depending on the type of account and transaction used.

Bibit is mighty broken, aye. And it has always been that way, unfortunately.
It tends to refuse majority of my cards that are otherwise perfectly valid and used all around the world regularly.

Having an option of using Paypal would certainly help making the process of subbing much less enraging.
