To do Alchemist, again ya gotta go thru several steps.

First ya gotta make a campfire; will need the following:

5 QL50 Abyhaya* or Eyota Wood
5 QL50 Irin* or Pilan Oil
5 Silverweed or Viscous Sap

* available from NPC

Then ya gotta make a phial; will need the following:

3 QL50 Glue* or Fung Resin
5 QL50 Soo or Pha* Amber
2 QL50 Dzao or Buo* Fiber
Campfire

Then ya gotta make the potion, will need the following:

30 Red, Green or Purple Flowers* (OP ones)
20 Flasks of Water (Water Carrier Profession)
20 Bouquets of Flowers (Florist Profession)

Red = Constitution or Metabolism Flowers
Green = Intelligence or Wisdom Flowers
Purple = Strength or Balance Flowers

Using a mixture of 250 Strength flowers, QL40 and QL50 Occ components I wound up with 3 potions of QL108 .... again, as with, catalyst occupation, the reward / effort ratio doesn't seem to be there. However, it is at least a use for purple and green flowers.

Maybe it's worth the effort as you advance but I'm just not inclined to pursue it ATM.

As a side note.....

I also made a purse. To make a purse; will need the following:

6 Fresh or Old Cocoon
6 QL50 Yber, Igara or Izam Leather
1 Armor Craft Tool

Other than put on Pei Ruiz armor and wearing it in the Miss Atys contest at the Faire this weekend, I haven't thought of a use for it. :)
