Wouldn't it be nice if there wre separate SFX and "Extra SFX" volume controls so that you wouldn't have to listen to snorting mektoubs and flaming swords, but could still hear your teammates getting into fights behind you?

Having different volume sliders for "Ambient", "Combat", "Spell effects" and "Creature sounds" would be indeed welcome.

having more than two SFX controls would be nice, but for me what I want mostly is the ability to tune out or down the more annoying, persistant and meaningless noise without losing cooler sounds, or ones important to the game. I'm guessing that some people get put-off by some of those sounds, like the howling wind on silan, or the mektoubs in the market while you're doing a lot of trading or crafting.
