This happened to me today. I asked in uni and kami channel if anyone wanted to team and kill some kinchers. I got one reply, and after I say my alt can heal the person left team. I thought they crashed so I send a tell asking why they left team, and I got no respond. Obviously they left because there is an alt in the team.

A big deal has been made about some players using alts and 3rd party systems, and how it is unfair to use them in PvP content. Obviously others have issues with the use of alts period. And they have the right to their opinion and even not to team with alts.

I use an alt because I can't find any teams. I have no problems NOT using my alt in a team, hell I welcome it, makes my gaming much easier if I can focus on one skill at a time instead of worrying about keeping everyone alive in a team and at the same time tank. Yes I would be very happy to put my alt to rest and not pay the extra bucks.

Next time you see me asking for a team know that yes I use an alt and if you don't want me to use her simply ask me not to, I be more than happy to comply because frankly I'm very tired of having to use one to level in this game.

I understand what you mean. It seems everyone is busy when I am ingame so I go off (no alt) and die alone. But then I am pretty low. But if I am anywhere near you I would team with you alt or no alt.

Use of alts to fill out teams is very common and accepted. I'd be very surprised if your team dropout today did so because of your alt. More likely he just had to go afk without explanation. It happens all the time. I will be happy to team with you and your alts anytime Loupi. :)

Used to be that guildies were about to heal and melee - but a healing alt always comes in handy - keep it going, I think Rael was one of the first to use alts, though keeping comp and laptop going sometimes had him whupped. tbh - in a game where no one goes short of anything I am stumped as to why the fuss *ducks head for onslaught* and I do not want to read any more of the load of reasons that there are all over the place - just saying not everyone thinks it's an issue!!

Maybe they got called to an emergency boss hunt and were too busy to answer... but I must admit it's a bit rude to drop a team without noticing your team mate(s) that you are being called somewhere in emergency...

Even though I prefer a team made of players, I wouldn't snob one that has a few alts filling the holes, although using too many of them makes things a bit boring and unchallenging in my very personnal opinion (that no one HAS to agree with).

Loupi, I think most of us don't mind the use of alts. There are lots of reasons that they might have had to drop, no use to speculate. I would venture to guess something came up if they didn't respond to your tell, spouse/kid aggro is never predictable - hehe.

It's not the existence of alts most people have problems with, but the ways they are sometimes (and by some people, not even most people) employed.

If someone has problems with you wanting to bring your little helper, they should tell you and not be rude and just leave without even saying why.

Loupi you should just say dilligaf and get on with your day, it works out better in the end mate, making posts here will just make them patronize you.
