A long time coming... - English - Ryzom Community Forum

I have been thinking about this for a long time now. It is a hard decision as I have become fond of those who I have met in this wonderful world called Atys.

I started playing Ryzom to accompany my husband in a time of trial. He is now slowly gaining back his health. In the meantime, I have let many things go astray. I was a busy woman before Ryzom, helping friends, taking courses, giving bible lessons along with many home chores and projects.

I'm not certain if I will ever come back to play. I really need to get things back on track. I will keep my character in case I find the time to hop on and say hello. I dearly appreciate the many acquaintances I have developed online; you know who you are. I will only have positive thoughts when you come to mind.

Amung new found friends I have to mention Hechicera, Iala, Binarabi, Hekla, Fyrosfreddy and Azad who have been very supportive during my stay here on Atys and towards my husband.

I am sure I have forgotten to mention many more and such Guilds as Fluffy Bunnies, Aeden Artisans and Knights Leviers who have not only accepted us as we are into their micro families that love to help each other, but also have been supportive. I wish you all my best and hope you will not hold a grudge of any kind. This is really the only way I can get back to my ‘life’.

My husband will still be playing so please do not shower him with tells about this. It is my decision only.

Thank you for your contribution in a happy introduction to the game world.

I have missed you. You helped me so much with macros plus you were a pleasure to be with. Tho I lost track of you as I am much slower.
None the less Picksi, you have been missed greatly and will still be missed.

You will be greatly missed and I hope you will return some day though, yes Real Life and family comes first. Im sure all homins will give you're husband the same if not greater respect that we gave you (even though i dont know who it is).

I understand completely about how RL can interfere with gaming. I used to be able to play about 20 hours a week, but now I find that I am lucky if I can play for 20 minutes.

Children and family have to come first, and as they grow older, they require more of my time.

We will miss you, but don't forget you will always be welcome on Atys.

I haven't had the pleasure to meet you ingame, but still, I feel you there. I know how it feels to leave a game that you still appreciate when real life requires it. I'm sure you will be missed by all the players you had a positive impact on. They will be happy to see you whenever you come back. Preserve those great memories and don't let ANYONE spoil them for you.

The Ryzom community is always happy to welcome back old players returning. Especially when they left with a good impression.
Take care of yourself and your family, it's the most important. Games are there for fun, not an obligation.
