Contest: Holiday Scenarios - English

Arispotle Events challenges new and veteran scenario creators to make holiday themed scenarios in the Ring!

Details:
1. Register by sending ingame mail to Jaliun by 4 December.
2. Note if you are participating in the Beginning or Advanced category.
3. All files must be submitted by 18 December (instructions will be sent to all registrants).
4. Voting by the players will be from 19 - 23 December.

Scenario Requirements:
* NEW Holiday Themed Scenario (you may not use/recycle an existing scenario)
* Not more than 2 Acts
* File Set up:
** Rules: Masterless
** Difficulty: Creator's choice (remember this will be voted on by the players)
** Language: English
** Type: Creator's choice
** Access: Run and Edit (will be changed to Run Only for public access)
* Beginning creators need to utilize a minimum of 10 components of the Ring
* Advanced creators need to utilize a minimum of 25 components of the Ring

The Arispotle Events Team will be holding a Question and Answer session for the Holiday Ring Scenario Contest on Friday, 3 December at 19:00 GMT and Saturday, 4 December at 02:00 GMT at the Agora in Pyr for all players who have questions about the Holiday Contest.

Three contestants have entered the Holiday Scenario contest. Over the next days enjoy the experience of the following scenarios:

1. Santa's Problem (Silan)
2. Holiday Merger Emergency
3. Wormy's Xmas

When you are prepared to place your vote, send an ingame mail to Jaliun with Ring Vote as the subject and your vote for your favorite Holiday Scenario.

I just did the Merger Emergency and found it frustrating but good. (If it hadn't been a litle frustrating it wouldn't have been any fun.) The writing was quite good, imho.

Heh, I did it last night, and didnt find it frustrating at all...

Well... maybe preparing the izam was, but fast knifes did the trick for me...

Mostly I had a lot of fun playing the scenario, and makes me asking for MORE!!!

yep the Holiday merger was excellent I loved the mini history lesson. geneous. nice to see the rings more involed abilities in action.

Don't get too one-sided with the praise now, I won't disagree the Holiday Merger was good but the Wormy's Xmas was quite good too ;)

I specially liked the Karavan bureaucracy.

not sure got to test all of them but some dappers...

arcs - kitin fighter was really good... nearly starship troopers-eque (memories of first invasion etc)... what could of been ehh.... :'o(
would almost want to build a "defendable kittin kettle" and see what happens

sxarl reli- the er holiday merge - ye was pretty goot and fun less slash hack more incitefull inceptioning :o)... ghosty ragu brought back rayka memories before the move...

A big thank you to all who participated in either creating or experiencing these wonderful scenarios. It was decided that all three scenarios rocked and therefore each contestant won an Atysmas Village Collector's Set for their apartment. Congratulations Marelli, Sxarlet and Iala for your great scenarios!
