We have two untapped markets that need to be exploited with monthly ads about Ryzom. Both the North American and South American markets can bring in new players if marketed to their gaming styles. Winch Gate staff members need to make one or two ads featuring our Crafting and the freedom of choice the game offers. All to often i hear that the only play style Ryzom seems to project is RP which turns many players away. While RP is a vital part of Ryzom we need to emphasis the other important aspects of the game which could influence more to join our ranks and take us into another 20 years.
Placing these new ads on various MMO advertising sites would be a simple upload by the staff every month or two to keep them fresh and show we are actively looking for players. Lets face it opening these markets could bring in vital cash as well.
Ryzom has always suffered from being under advertised and that has been just lack of effort mostly. Putting the total package of play styles the game can offer can help increase population and awareness.
