I did not realize this earlier that my post should have been placed into Atys ideas – well now there is an additional idea to my previous thought. First, I think that the roaming scouts that are associated with the tribe(s) in a specific area should also be affected by your fame with said tribe. For example, if you have positive fame with a tribe and they protect you, then the associated roaming scouts should do the same. That would also go for neutral fame and negative fame reactions. The game already has the mechanism in-place where it should not be difficult to incorporate.

The second idea I had is regarding bandits. I think that bandits should be “fame dependent” as well. If a particular bandit is associated with a specific civilization or cult and your fame matches, then said bandit should be tied to your fame – or at the very least, we should be allowed to affect positively or negatively said bandit’s fame setting. I believe that either or both changes would make the game far more exciting and a greater challenge.

Just my 2-cents which is most likely not worth 1-dapper…

- 1 on your "bandits" idea

Bandits attack on sight, no matter how famous we are.
They're bandits, and that's what sets them apart from tribes (in addition to the fact that they don't move).

On the other hand +1for :
  • Good idea about traveling tribesmen.
  • + Someone else had suggested that if we killed them, we might find things (Archolethmp or other)
